Correct.

I wonder why that is.

I'm gonna keep my Indiana favorite team icon up for awhile.......

Is discovering how many lifelong Hoosier football fans have been living around me this whole time. At least the bandwagon folks are lucky because crimson still works, so they don’t even have to replace all of their old Alabama gear.

I give about as much of a shite about Indiana now as I did before they won it all, which is to say not at all. It was a fun game to watch though.

People hate to see other teams win. It’s become an epidemic among sports discourse. Just constant bitching and excuse making whenever someone has success.

IU will get plenty of hate next year. It’s just how it goes

I don’t get where you’re seeing this. Indiana has been the most nationally respected/rooted for national champion that I can remember.

In fact, name a national championship team that had less haters than Indiana…many people were genuinely rooting for them, which is rarely the case.

Well yea no one actually wants parity, what they want is their team to dominate.

You know something? It's ironic that your team just won its first championship yet you are on the board of a random team creating a dramatic narrative that doesn't exist.

The vast majority of people here were indifferent to the outcome of this game. Go do your best impression of Don Quixote elsewhere and find another windmill to fight.

The transfer rules bring parity. But the NIL stuff is going to eventually cause 90% of teams to stop trying and only leave a few deep pockets slugging it out every year.

I am no Indiana fan and really never thought they would finish the job but it was so nice not to see Bama or Ohio State in the finals. Oh and no Notre Dame.
Congrats to IU, biggest question is what they put on the field next year.
Kudos to the IU fans and a great coaching job by Cignetti and staff.

Most people and college football fans didn’t care for IN football. They rather see IN win over traditional powers.

I rather them over any SEC schools, power house like OSU, Michigan.

For any EPL fans haha, fans didn’t care when Leicester won the EPL that one year. No one was upset since they just didn’t care

What I am wondering is if he would leave IU if one of the more traditional CFB powers came along and made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Great storyline this year. Cignetti is a hell of a coach. Wish he was younger just to see what he could do long term.

As Saban has said, climbing the mountain is one thing, staying there is against human nature.

Congrats on a great season.

great job by Indiana, the players and Cignetti, but why is Mark Cuban not getting any credit?
