Well, $1.8 billion/$30 million/year = 60 years. One loses $1.8 billion upfront, the other costs nothing up front and loses only $30 million/year. It would take 60 years of losing $30 million to equal the loss of $1.8 billion up front for a new stadium.

There’s a lot more that goes on in and around a stadium than 8 chiefs games

Why would the NFL have the SB in Kansas when they can give the millionaire attendees the same new stadium feel and perks in Miami, L.A. Houston....

There’s same reason they have one in Minneapolis in February

and yet you will be back rooting for them again, just like you pulled for them against the Saints....but then again, you're a duplicitous Taint of a fan anyway.

It’s been said before, but owners are essentially real estate moguls. The on-field product is secondary to whatever hotels and restaurants and entertainment districts they can manage.

This is why MLS teams are valued so much despite being such shite product

It’s the value of the land for the stadiums, often times NFL owners stick their MLS team playing in a football stadium.

Kansas City MO will officially be a ladies soccer town after 2031.

Using that logic isn't it wild that neither New York City or Los Angeles have an NFL team. WILD!

Even their $7M rent goes into a fund they control for operations

It's where the money is and the reason almost all the newer stadiums will be domed and multipurpose

The fact is that cities and states compete for these franchises and usually pay whatever it takes…

Jackson County should’ve developed around the TSC as promised and not tried to fleece the taxpayers. The Chiefs called them and left to Olathe where it’s a better place

The interesting one to me is the Bears and Chicago. The Indiana move is now in play.

So that their taxpayers can take it up the arse.
