It really is a shame how the media is following this dude's every move. Pretty sure he wasn't the only rookie that's enjoying himself in the offseason.

As long as he's not doing anything illegal and come football time, he's all about the business then who cares?

Cut his punk arse. He's Tebow 2.0.A system QB. A little better passer with none of the intangibles and an attitude of Ryan Leaf. Dude will be out of NFL in 4 years, dead or in prison in under 10.

Ben Tate sounds kind of jelly with that comment

He's probably saying the media coverage is annoying, and the media is trying to deflect that to JFF.

Guarantee we will see Adam Schefter tweet before the season starts that he has sources in the Rams organization that say Michael Sam is being discriminated against because he is gay.
Did you make that same guarantee with Jason Collins and the Nets?

ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi stated Friday that he's never seen Manziel-like behavior from a Browns player. Grossi has covered the Browns for 30 years.

I'm no Manziel or Browns fan, but this is a prisoner of the moment sportswriter statement if I've ever seen one.

Has he ever heard of Bernie Kosar?

He may be technically correct.

But just because he's never seen it doesn't mean Browns players haven't been doing stuff like this every single year.

Like I said, the media is just going out and finding it, and talking about his every move, that's the only real difference.

I love the Emmit Smith quote:

quote:

"That lifestyle is going to be a short lifestyle -- a short career lifestyle -- if he continues that,”

Emmitt Smith, same guy who played with Michael Irvin

That is one of my favorite clips in recent memory, and the timing of the Clemens INT was just so perfect.

the part where they ask him a trivia question was great.

Q: Who is the most famous person Kellen Clemens has given an autograph too?

A: Pope Benedict.

Kosar: bless me Father for I have sinned, I have to watch him (Clemens) the whole 4th quarter.

Immediately followed by:

"The pass by Clemens is tipped and intercepted!!!!"

Can't even write a better script than that.

But he's not doing anything to anybody. He's having fun on his own time with his own people. What's it to anybody else?

Its to his employers who have a public image to uphold. They write his paychecks, they can tell him what to do... if he doesn't then they can fine or cut his arse.
If he doesn't want his "fun" to be blasted everywhere then quit taking dumbass photos of yourself and tweeting them all over the world.
He is employed by a damn near billion dollar company... he if they say curb it, you curb it.
He'll liable to get his arse lit up if he doesn't tone it down a bit by a vet... Not all people want to be associated with the shite like that.

maybe but let's not pretend the media has to do any real digging when johnny poses for these type of pics and they are put on instagram or twitter or wherever.

that doesn't mean i hate johnny or he's a horrible person but he can have fun and also use some common sense. he's already known as a party boy and a wiser person may try to diffuse that notion by simply not posing for pics like he does.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to here a story about how his teammates don't block for him for a play or two just make sure he gets his bell rung to knock him off the pedestal he put himself on
