Yeah, I'm not gonna pollute the thread bashing Tiger all day like some guys do. But, the fanboys with the hurr durr Big Cat is back every time he hits a good a shot drive me insane. In any event, it's great theater when he's in contention. I hope he loses by a shot.

He finished runner up in a major last year, top 5 in another major, and 2nd in the fedex cup you complete dumbass
He is back

"Back" as in being a contender? Yes

"Back" as in being the Tiger of old? We'll see...

Tiger left 3 birdies out there on the back!

And I hate his pairing with Poulter tomorrow. Wish he would have been back with Rham.

He is. But Molinari chased him down.

I mean Molinari was 1 back after 10 holes, and Tiger promptly doubled the 11th. Not sure if that classifies as chasing down. Molinari had a great last 2 rounds, think he was bogey free for 2+ rounds.

On putts 5’ and in, Tiger ranks 84th out of the 87 players in the field. He would be leading the tournament by a few shots if he was just average from that distance.

You guys live and die by every shot of a guy who hasn't won a major in a decade. It's sad, but I get it. I was the same way with Federer when he hadn't won a major in like five years.

For many of us, including most of the guys on tour between 25-35, tiger is the single biggest reason we started playing or even paying attention to golf.

Updated odds to win the Masters
Tiger Woods 6.5 to 1
Brooks Koepka 7 to 1
Dustin Johnson 7 to 1
Francesco Molinari 7 to 1
Jason Day 9 to 1
Adam Scott 11 to 1
Louis Oosthuizen 11 to 1

Gonna come from that group. Surprising to me Tiger is favorite. That's certainly not a value play.

He’s always the favorite when he’s in the hunt or playing well.

Every casual golf fan/gambling fan is throwing money on him.

Lol at the “all the other guys are going to fold because Tiger is there” comments.

Koepka and Molinari already took Tiger’s best punch and it didn’t faze them. This is 2019, not 2005. Tiger certainly can win this, but he is going to have to go out and make it happen. The 20 or so guys near the lead aren’t all going to crumble and fade away.

Even besides fandom, it makes sense he is the favorite

He has played the best golf the first two days

Not sure why you responded to me.....

I’m simply pointing out tiger is a top 5 golfer right now in big tournaments. More likely top 3
