it took almost three years, but this douchebag is finally getting what's been coming to him for a while... his stance and reporting during the cam newton story was absolutely ridiculous... glad everyone is finally seeing what Auburn fans have known for a while... that evans is a joke.

Someone on another board said SI is twitter bombing right now with fake accounts all spouting the same tweet. My computer is acting up so I can't search for it. Can anyone else confirm?

The Newton BS was similar. The dad wanted money and ran his mouth, some boosters probably talked to the dad about it, BUT the school and coaches didn't know about it, weren't involved in it, did nothing wrong and Cam never received money! The dad was forbidden to come near the program, etc. Coaches cannot control this crap!

after the allegations came out, TE was the main guy beating the drum... he came out with the Florida/Cam Newton failing class... didn't vote him in the heisman race... and made a big deal about CN not talking to the media (during an active investigation it wasn't a shock). When Gregg Doyle thinks you're going overboard on a topic, you might want to check yourself.

He has been slowly oozing his way through attacking OU rivals for a while now.

I wouldn't surprised. The WVU scout boards are in full meltdown mode because Holgorsen and Deforest were at OSU. In one thread someone said WVU could get the death penalty

unfortunately, this idiot will find work whether he's at SI or not... and it's possible he'd have even less oversight somewhere else.
Selena Roberts wrote a similar hit-peice on Auburn a few months ago for her own blog... all b/c she can't find real work after fabricating sources. She probably has less credibility than Evans.
