I predict a fast recovery. Probably should happen right before Tech plays a team with a pulse.

Checked their schedule. Good grief that is weak. Week 3 is a Friday night home game against Houston. Week 4 is Sam Houston State. If they lose a game, they have no business near the playoffs.

They'll say they aren't sure about his status in the postgame presser after whatever bum they have in week 2 but Monday morning:

I don't blame the courts for this.
The blame falls on Texas Tech. Why are they even fooling around with this guy? It's pitiful. Texas Tech should be CFP banned for 3 years.

Well you should. The reasoning the judge gave was absolute bullshite and there is already precedent set for this. Just about every talking head including lawyers and agents in the industry didnt expect this to happen.

Maybe I can get my job back as a bouncer at the bunny ranch even though I’m a recovering sex addict

because no one trust him not to bet on the game

Which is why it asked WHY WOULD HE BE ALLOWED.

Credit where its due, they're playing victim all the way to the end. From Sorsby on down. Didn't know Lubbock was so liberal minded.

I listened to the Athletic pod yesterday and Bruce Feldman had a good take.

He said he spoke with multiple scouts and they said the knock on Sorsby is he's very hard on himself and mentally has never been a leader.

Now they are the most hated team and he's the most hated player and is going to get so much shite for every road game.

Everyone's just assuming he's gonna ball out but it could go the other way. The guy is 0-9 the last two Novembers combined.

The fact that they are trying to justify this by pretending Sorsby has some "serious medica/mental disability" is a joke.

EDT: It's like Mike Vrabel missing the last day of the draft to go get "treatment" for cheating on his wife. "Treatment" that lasted about 3 days before he was "cured".

The leaning into the addiction/mental health angle is horrible advice. The same guy you are claiming has a gambling addiction is about the be your starting quarterback

It’s insane to see all of these guys around Texas Tech put their entire reputation on the line for a one and done potentially mediocre QB.

I disagree. The guy was clearly addicted to gambling

But I don’t care he should still be punished

Exactly the point...so if one was recovering, you don't put them back in the bar......or on the field
