1990-92 Pirates choking in the NLCS.

WBB during the Pokey/Van Chancellor era. Five straight Final Four appearances without advancing.

95-01 Indians. Went to the World Series twice with another LCS appearance, 6 AL Central championships. Finished with the best record in baseball at least twice in that span, and an absolutely incredible amount of talent on the roster.

I’m fairly young but that’s the best core that I can remember that got an extended run together and didn’t win a title

shite it’s one of the best cores of a team I can remember regardless

Thank God for '95, otherwise the Braves would be such an easy answer.

I feel like OP is indicating that you’re surprised they didn’t win a championship, but I might be off on that

I’ll toss in Bob Huggins Cincinnati run from 91-01. Made a final four and a couple of elite eights, just never could breakthrough despite having a bevy of talent. And yes I’m certainly aware that Kenyon Martin breaking his leg cost Huggins his best shot at a title.

Same for Tom Izzo and Lute Olson. Remarkable how a single title can change the perception of a coach/team.

Atlanta Braves from the 90s. Many division titles and one freaking ring. To answer your topic, the Vikings come to mind. Most snakebit franchise in football

Kansas State football under Bill Snyder. Especially 1997-2003 when they had 6 11-win seasons in that span. 1998 KSU has a strong argument for being the best single-season team any CFB program had from 1996-2000.

Paul Maurice of the Hurricanes (2x), Maple Leafs, and Jets would have been on this list.

But he got his ring last year with the Panthers.

This just a personal one cause i've bet Tony to win a major way too much

11 top 10s in majors

5 tops 5

2 top 3

1/3 chance he finishes in the top ten per major

you'd think eventually he would just run into a win

Houston basketball under Guy Lewis

Three straight Final Fours from 1982 to 84 with two national championship losses.

Between 1966 and 1984, they made five Final Fours. Multiple HOFers. Lewis was Houston basketball before Sampson.

Sampson is on a pretty strong run now without a natty yet.
