here's my list in order of the greatest disliked:
Mike and Mike - both of them and their program should've been put out to the pasture 5 years ago. It's pathetic.
Fat Mike: "Hey Greenie, you know what I love?"
Bitch Mike: "Uhhh, i dunno Golic,... bacon, ice cream, grease. Hahah you're fat Golic. LOLOL......you should try the Jared 40 Day Challenge...."
BROUGHT TO YOU BY SUBWAY. EAT FRESH. EAT HEALTHY.
Fat Mike: "Awwww Greenie. But you're a midget. derp derp derp."
Bitch Mike: "Unlike MY MIGHT NY JETS Golic! Did I mention the Jets this show yet Golic"
Fat Mike: "That reminds me Greenie, this weekend me and the family cooked up some delicious burgers........"
BROUGHT TO YOU BY JOHNSONVILLE SAUSAGE
....frick me, refuse to listen to ESPN radio on my drive to work in the morning because of Mike and Mike.
Skip Bayless - senile old man who lives to stir the public. otherwise useless sports analyst.
Stephen A Smith - has played the race card too many times. Cant stand his childish screaming while having a sports discussion in an attempt to bring his point home.
Bill Simmons - does nothing for NBA ABC productions. I don't care if he knows his history. He makes the entire set and viewers uncomfortable with his peer jabs and off topic comments. Back to writing on Grantland, stick with what you are good at, it isn't TV.
Dan LeBeRetard - Miami Heat homer. (nearly nuff said). Obnoxious soundbites interrupt the show constantly. His surrounding cast sucks too.
Jemelle Hill (sp) - loves her racists cards too. Doesn't really bring anything to any shows she's been on. But I don't absolutely hate her new podcast "His and Hers" with Michael Smith.

Idk if its "creepy", but he has this odd schtick...
I honestly don't know how to explain it. Sometimes i can't stand segments b/c he goes full weirdo though
He has a good rapport with certain people he interviews thats why i like his show, him and reggie miller are a fun listen, Landon Donovan has been good too.

Joel Meyers is one of the best and most respected announcers in the NBA.

Surprised only one mention of Fowler. The only criticisms I have ever heard about him come from arrogant tennis purists who think he doesn't understand the game.
Love Tirico, even on sports he doesn't usually handle like soccer and tennis.
Everyone on this board loves Doc Emrick, except pville in the hockey threads.
I enjoy SVP on TV, but I think he stumbles around on the radio show.
I think Dan Patrick's show is just kind of weird. He is smarmy all the time, and has those lame sidekicks that don't add much.

Easily the best radio show

I'm surprised at the lack of love for Mike Tirico. He's the best in the biz when it comes to covering football

I'd guess guys like:
Barkley
SVP/Russillo
Rece Davis
Chris Fowler
Mike Tirico
Should be on pretty near every list. I think Bilas is very good but I wouldn't say I like him. He frequently gives thoughtful perspectives but often over-steps to the point of disrespecting anyone with an opposing viewpoint. That's something the SVP type guys typically do better.
For color commentators I think Gus Johnson is pretty awesome but I'm sure some hate him for his over the top calls. At the other end of the spectrum I love Hubie Brown and the late Jack Ramsay. Both are actually informative and instantly saw plays that their partners typically only understood in slow motion replay.
For baseball the late Jack Buck might be the best answer? Although certainly baseball being regional means many others will have their own special nostalgia for other personalities. Although he might not qualify to some as a media personality the late Bob Sheppard somehow sends goosebumps up my arms and legs even though I generally loathe the Yankees.
Joe Rogan is probably not universally liked because of the sport and his personality - but if you like MMA, the chances that you like hearing him call a fight more than pretty near anyone else are high.

He is the personification of bland. He doesn't annoy me like a john sterling or hawk harrelson, but he brings nothing to the table. I don't like gruden, so together they make a bad team. I honestly enjoy listening to pompous Joe buck more than tirico.

Joe Morgan
Are you serious? May have been the most hated baseball announcer before he retired. (Yes, I am including McCarver)

Bilas and Rafferty are possibly the two best personalities in college basketball IMO. Hard not to like either one. Maybe he's not a sports 'personality' but I enjoy when Dan Shulman calls games.

Most of the guys mentioned so far are great. I think SVP is the clear number one because he says what he believes and doesn't seem like the type of guy to just say things to get fans riled up like Cowherd, SAS, Bayless, and many others do. Tirico, Barkley, Emrick, Lowe, Bilas, Davis, and Fowler all seem to be universally liked as well.
I don't know if any of y'all are soccer people but I think the Men in Blazers are great and I haven't talked to anybody yet that isn't a fan of them.

I remember Tim Brando whining and crying in the Tiger Stadium parking lot at a tailgate over 20+ years ago about ESPN shite canning him in favor of Tirico. Does anyone think ESPN screwed up?

Ron "sweet baby" Franklin is universally liked. Unfortunately the world went and got too dang sensitive for a man treating a lady like a lady.
