Put him on some weight training and he would be a faster Gronk. Play for a Texas team and I doubt a Texas court would domesticate a judgment against him for breach. Just need to change those pesky bylaws. Probably big tax advantages for him and he gets out of the bad weather

Yeah I’m sure he’d give being a global celebrity and arguably the best player in the world currently to play for a Texas nfl team.

Statcast has him as one of the slower players in mlb. Doesn’t seem fast enough to play skill positions or big enough to be interior. What were you thinking?

No one has any clue who the hell you're talking about. Hope that clears up the confusion.

they call Haaland the Striking Viking? That HAS to be an ironic nickname because that's the ugliest motherfricker on the planet.

Did you just compare a soccer player to the most physically gifted tight end ever to play ball?

It’s quite possibly the dumbest thing I’ve heard this week.

Messi should join the NFL as a kicker.

A milf on tictok that's been making videos of the cutest soccer players at the world cup has him in her top 10.

Well Haaland is a significantly faster and explosive athlete than gronk so there’s that.

Give Haaland an extra 50 - 60 pounds and see if that is still the case

6’5” 200 pound Norwegian that can run about a 4.2/4.3

I've never watched this dude play a single second of soccer but I doubt very seriously that he would touch even a 4.4 40. Much less a 4.2

Scored two goals tonight in the world Cup but he should probably just quit to go be a tight end in Cleveland

Erling Haaland has been officially clocked at a staggering top speed of 36.5 km/h (approx. 22.7 mph). At 6'4", this elite pace makes him one of the fastest players in world football, combining his massive physical frame with explosive acceleration

quote:

The fastest recorded top speeds by ball-carriers in recent NFL action include the following top performances:Jonathan Taylor (Indianapolis Colts): 22.38 mph on a 43-yard reception.Jahmyr Gibbs (Detroit Lions): 22.34 mph on a 42-yard rush.Brian Thomas Jr. (Jacksonville Jaguars): 22.13 mph on a 46-yard reception.TreVeyon Henderson (New England Patriots): 22.01 mph on a 55-yard touchdown rush.Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles): 21.87 mph on a 28-yard rush.

Well you’d be wrong. He’s easily a 4.4 guy and likely sub 4.4 at that. But it’s a good thing you qualified that you’ve never watched him.

I mean to be fair Gibbs is the only guy listed who ran sub 4.40 at their combine and it’s not exactly apples to oranges given those players ran those times in pads and with players actively trying to tackle them in live action

Not meaning to discount his athleticism at all, but I think at the very least we can agree the original claim of running a 4.2 is silly

I mean to be fair BTJ ran a 4.33 and Jonathan Taylor 4.39.

Yeah, and he doesn’t get hit by 270 lb monsters that run 4.6s and bench 450.

Gronkowski is the greatest tight end ever. Not arguable. That means the people across from him trying to stop him, especially when he became a primary target, are probably the most gifted/fast athletes on this earth.

You have to imagine NFL talent focusing on playing soccer their entire lives. We would be unstoppable using our top NFL and NBA talent.

You are comparing a guy who is playing against tier 2 athletes from other counties some of which are third world.

Well he grew up in Norway, I guess he could have played rugby. But, say he grew up in Iowa and from a young age played football and conditioned himself in a football manner he could be a beast. It's just like saying if Deion Sanders had grown up in France playing soccer he would be great. There are great athletes all over the world.

There are phenomenal athletes I agree. While there are, the best athletes without question reside and are bred in America.

Gronk is not normal. Just look at the guy and look at what he did. He’s a freak. Physically a freak.

Haaland couldn’t sustain a week in Gronks shoes in the prime of his career because he would’ve already quit.
