I can see it now. They’re gonna go crazy. Money is what drives all of this. Another similar situation would be TLaw ending up at The panthers. That’s a long stretch compared to the 49ers situation

Jets flip Darnold, both 1st rounders (2 & 23) and maybe a 3rd for Russell Wilson - Zach Wilson goes #3 to the 49ers

Jimmy G needs a playmaker on the outside. But I think they go defense. But that's alot of draft picks to draft anything outside of a QB or once in a generation player.

In that scenario, Seattle would take Z. Wilson with the 2nd pick.

I’ll take Sewell at 2 with Darnold over Z. Wilson behind the current OL

They didn't give up that much draft capital to draft defense

I just don't understand all the Fields hype. Who was the last great Ohio State quarterback in the NFL?

Pitts at 3? No way they move up to take a TE at 3.

Fields at 3 is a big risk. What about Chase to San Fran at 3?

You think the 49ers gave up all those picks to move up to take a WR at 3 with this deep WR class? No way.

Who cares? Fields has nothing to do with any of that. Were the Chargers dumb for selecting a QB from Oregon? Look up all the busts they've had.

Could also say the same with LSU?

The best QB in the league went to Texas Tech (and had a losing record in his last season)
Don’t think QB “pipelines” really matter these days

Such a dumb common talking point. OU is probably the only school recently that has been producing NFL starting QBs. Name me one other school that is producing a number of NFL starting QBs?

What was LSU’s track record with producing NFL QBs before Burrow? Or Texas Tech before Mahomes? Or OU before Mayfield? Or Wisconsin before Wilson? Or Wyoming before Allen? Or Louisville before Jackson? I can keep going. Point is there is no real QBU.

This may be true, but that doesn’t mean he will be any kind of star....

I don’t know the specifics, but Lance has the skill set Kyle Shanahan wants in a QB. That’s why so many prognosticators are predicting they moved up for him.

They will be hoping like hell the jets keep darnold. The problem is,that if the jets do that, then they will move down and someone else will move into that spot and get wilson. One way or the other this drafts going wilson fields lance or wilson lance fields. Obviously this is after tlaw at 1.

I'll be surprised if it's not 4 qbs at 1-4 and if nobody else moves into that top 4. It's not a foregone conclusion that the jets stay and draft wilson. Probably 65 percent chance, imo.

Fields has more potential and is more proven than Lance. Dude has bust written all over him.
