That 3rd and goal on last drive took 5 seconds to develop and they made the dumbass mistake of choosing to receive the kickoff. In no way does receiving first an advantage in any situation, permutation.

49ers dominated the first half and had all of 3 points to show for most of it

If he runs the ball on that last regulation drive, kc doesn't drive the field to force overtime.
