One thing that probably doesn’t get talked enough about VY with his stats is that he played maybe 3 or 4 fourth quarters the entire season.

I legitimately don’t think he had a passing touchdown in the 4th quarter the entire season.

Completely forgot about these.

Argument could be made either way but if I had the choice I'm taking 2010 Cam over 2005 VY every single time.

I'm picking college cam over a frick ton of other QBs. He was ridiculous. It was like watching a 5 star recruit play 2A ball.

Not even debatable, IMO. Imagine what Deshaun Watson did to Alabama in 2015 and add another 150 rushing yards and a win to it.

Career is a stupid way to look at it. Cam Newton accomplished everything in a single year Tebow did in his 3 years as a starter. Bur because Tebow played longer in college, he is better?

Like I said, it depends on what you want to focus on. There is something to be said about sustained long term success and execution. It's a different "greatness," just like in the Super Bowl debate, Marino is still one of the top QBs ever BECAUSE of his long performance at a high level.

It's a mix of:
Single Season/Game Excellence
Titles/Championships/Hardware
Individual Performance Levels
Sustained Success - which says something about overall management and leadership

It all matters, some people just weigh certain things more than others.

100% this. VY didn’t take a meaningful second half snap in all but 2 games prior to the rose bowl (Ohio st and aTm).

Look at Auburn’s games from ‘10. Couple cakewalks, but Cam was needed and used much more than vy was in 05.

Cam’s stats were better because he played more.

In terms of greatness and dominance, they were equal.

Not entirely true. Had to lead a huge comeback against Oklahoma State and definitely took meaningful second half snaps in that game.

But agree with everything else.

That NCG was the best performance by a QB I've ever seen at as big of a game where the performance was given.

Me too. Stats don’t tell the whole story. People bring up these lists of top QBs, and it’s very skewed toward recent history because the game favors high scoring offenses now.

Am I supposed to believe Landry Jones was a better college qb than Vince? GTFO.

VY and Cam, those guys dominated like they played another game.

Manziel did not. VY and Cam willed their teams to titles. Manziel did not. I don’t give a shite about numbers when comparing guys who are just that damn good. We aren’t comparing Ken Dorsey and Gino Torretta here.

I will always argue that his Rose Bowl vs us was an equal if not better performance than the MNC vs USC

I can’t think of ten better than him, so yes.

Is he an idiot who blew all of his money at TGI Friday’s?

Again, yes.
