All these major media outlets are criticizing Alleva so hard because he made them look stupid.

All the reports were that Les was toast. They're mad because they were wrong.

I love how some people think everyone is supposed to be objective. Especially ESPN?

Or maybe Alleva is stupid... remember, the silent majority is on Les's side... you better have 1. A good reason to fire him and 2. A suitable replacement lined up 100% certain...

Should we get a rumor started on twitter that Schad is about to be fired?

Its the AD's job to control the narrative to mitigate the damage to the program. Ours failed. Simple as that.

this. He's the one that leaked the story to The Advocate.

Alleva has handled the whole situation quite well.

He's exhausted. He knows we're stuck with a moron, and he has to take the fall for it. A shame, really.

Alleva is exhausted because he failed at his job...moreso than miles.

He damaged the LSU brand this month exponentially more than 3 straight losses and poor QB play.

ESPN is awful, the way LSU handled this was actually worse. Won't surprise me if in a week or two Les takes another job, and I wouldn't blame him at all.

LSU's athletic department made USC's look competent. Impressive

If I never hear silent majority again, I'll be happy.

He did. Les found out with the rest of us he is staying. Alleva deserves not only to be fired, but to get his arse beat for this donkey show.

The writing was on the wall that this was les's last game. From him coming out and waving to the crowd before the game to him being carried off the field. These things don't happen unless you're expected to not be back next year by players, coaches and fans. The decision had to be changed either during the game or after the game.

They have nobody to blame but themselves.

They did either one of two things. They made up the story, in which case they should be mad at themselves. Or they ran with every rumor and tip because they were worried about getting scooped, in which case they should also be mad at themselves.

I suspect the Gridiron Club leak came from an anti-Miles booster who hoped the story would become a self fulfilling prophecy.

All the blame lies with LSU and the AD department on this. They are basically incompetent when it comes to media relations. ESPN is a straw man for deflecting the real blame with the AD's office

I'm no fan of ESPN, but this is the dumbest thing LSU fans keep griping about.

Why on earth would ESPN reporters reveal their sources? They'd lose all of their other sources, not to mention credibility in their field.
