ESPN is garbage in their journalism. Absolutely blew the lid off this ordeal, sensationalizing it, picking sides and losing objectivity, refusing to reveal sources which propagated this perpetual soap opera. LSU handled it poorly, but ESPN raised them on it with their incredible reporting.

Journalists NEVER reveal their sources. People get fired if you reveal sources, then they cease to be sources.

How does a journalist prove they exist then and not just make them up when they want?

I really feel as though this was like the Michigan leak. Les was going, but the leak screwed things up. LSU was going to fire him, but the leak messed things up

Wasn't it local media that really blew it up yesterday with the "Les told boosters he's coaching his last game"?

And lol at all the "at this point even if we don't get Jimbo, Les is done" people

By establishing a track record. If they're consistently wrong then they lose their job (in an ideal world). If they're consistently correct then they develop trustworthiness and have long careers.

Espn has long been a joke.

Don't feel too bad though, they're usually sucking that SEC dick, rarely making a single disparaging statement about anyone in it.

How about this one?

@schadjoeLSU sources says feeling is Les Miles is more open to change and less hard-headed since his future was openly questioned.

This is pathetic.

Anyone else see Schad lose it on air while on his first segment?

The change in his voice was noticeable when the PC info started appearing on twitter.

Schaad took something and ran with it, okay it happens.

But now he's trying to make it sound like its knee jerk, it wasn't. Anyone who has been in coaching change knows that they don't keep you based on in game meeting. It's not Remember The Titans. It's a business. Allleva and LSU had no such meeting in 3rd Qtr.

The "inside sources" for many of these ESPN talking heads were just as good as the inside sources many on the rant claim to have.

Besides it's ESPN...they want to make it a soap opera as possible and inject emotion into what should've been a business decision.

The best sources you can have are secretaries, and they won't talk. The sources are not even involved in anything, like a Co-SID with Baseball etc.

Les said he thought he was gone until they told him he wasn't AFTER THE GAME. The screw up is very much on LSU's end.

Its the AD's job to control the narrative to mitigate the damage to the program. Ours failed. Simple as that.
