Even if her remarks would have received no negative backlash, it still produced a moment I’m 350% more interested in than any other article some journalist would write about the game. Which is kinda the entire point of their profession

I didn’t like it. I get what the reporter is trying to say but it comes off as patronizing or talking down to the coach. This sounded like a grandmother telling her grandchild “good game”.
