It’s not specified whether he must leave now or next month or after the current year ends. Brady has recently said, more than once, that he won’t be retiring during the 2022 season.

Based on the report, she presumably wants it to happen sooner than later.

“She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future,” US Weekly reports. “She is doing it for her family.”

I figured his coming back might not be the cause of the problems, but possibly a reaction to them -- in other words, if the marriage is on the rocks, anyway, why not play more football? But, if this new news is real, why can't she just wait two more months for the thing to end?

She's a woman, does it have to make sense? I mean it isn't like she made her money building rockets.

He still won't be home for the next decade. Everyone forgets he signed a 10 year deal with Fox to do TV. He'll still be on the road every week during the season.

If you have to make ultimatums for your marriage to work, it's not a healthy marriage to begin with.

Yeah but that's a fractional amount compared to a NFL player. You have people like Kirk Herbstreit doing Thursday Night Football, College Gameday, and calling a CFB Game on Saturday all within a 48-hour period. Being an announcer is not a very demanding job in terms of work and time spent away from home.

Lose lose situation for Tom

If he retires he looks like a cuck and his wife wears the pants

If he keeps playing he doesn’t get to bone Gisele Bundchen. Also his team sucks arse

Eh.

If he’s PLENTY rich enough with the potential to be with someone more attractive and easier to be around, what’s the issue in ditching the supermodel?

Bingo.

It's pretty obvious she's resentful over the fact she gave up her modeling career to raise their kids and expected Brady to follow suit. And when he didn't, that's how we ended up here.

You have to have sense enough to know that it doesn't work that way with a successful, professional athlete. They don't get where they are without having a high level of competitiveness. You can't be shocked when they want to milk as much out of it as they can before they physically can't.
