Wrong. I was there the night we beat Texas A&M and it was either full or I was too drunk to realize it wasn't! Either way, that was the best game ever in that stadium.

No . You are delusional. Cajun field attendance record is 41k plus against Southern University in 2009.

Texas A&M was 36 .7k in 96

Southern U 36.170k in 2014

Alabama 36.133 in 1990

Why can't you just thank SU & the SWAC?

That is the biggest win in program history.

Wtf are you talking about? It was a record crowd for a SBC Championship game. And it was rocking. And they won. STFU

I was only having a little fun, but facts are facts & some SWAC schools have better attendance than G5 schools & maybe p5 bottom feeders.

ULL is great school that I profusely cheer for

The stadium is bigger than it realistically needs to be at 41k. 30-35 is more than enough for the biggest games thr Cajuns play. Do away with the upper-deck and put today's 31,000 in the lower bowl and the crowd doesn't look so sparse.

That’s mostly what the new renovations will do except adding some premium seating and new press boxes up too . (As well as offices on backside)

Supposed to be around 35k capacity

Great job Cajuns! I look forward to making the trip next year when South Alabama visits. Have heard great things about the tailgating.

They should put a mercy kitchen style outdoor dining experience in place of the upper deck. After halftime, it turns into a scandals style dance club. Would get the crowd they want to the stadium in Lafeyette.

Far short of a sellout. What's the point? They are an embarrassment. Should be a state law against them branding as Louisiana. Makes the state look bad.

The stadium holds 41k and we had 31k which is STILL a SBC Championship record.

You make the state look bad with your backwards mindset especially about our name.

This state does a good enough job at that already. I guarantee an SBC championship game on ESPN isn’t the deciding factor on someone thinking this state is a shite hole.

Game was a blast, energetic crowd. Looked good in person

I was there tonight and heard them announce the attendance record of 31+ thousand people, a record. Good for them I thought. Way better than the 15K that bothered to show up on average in the 90s.

Was listening to KPEL this week.....it is shameful that an 11-1 team has to ask for people to come out and support them.

That’s the life of G5 in the age of easily accessible television games. Everyone praised App State earlier this season during their televised game against Coastal for drawing 30k. Their stadium holds 30k so it looked amazing.

When that upper deck comes down in CF, crowds are going to look much better on TV.

What’s up haters!

Longest current winning streaks in college football:

1) Cincinnati Bearcats 13
2) Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns 12

Two straight top 20 ranked seasons!

You guys amaze me at your hatred of a fellow in state school. Yes, all the bandwagon fans in this state support LSU (LSU A&M, accuracy matters here). Everyone knows who the casuals support in Louisiana. It’s nothing to be prideful over.

To call any other school in this state an embarrassment after everything that has happened at LSU the past 2 years is insane. Have you been living under a rock? I don’t even know where to start.

UL is a true underdog story, where’s your soul? Did you leave it next to the discount Tiger gear rack at Walmart?

Congrats on owning the casual bandwagon fans in Louisiana. I’m okay not doing what everyone else does. I’ll support my alma mater. You should be happy someone represented our state the last two seasons.

Name the only other school outside LSU in this state that has ever finished consecutive seasons ranked in the top 20?

Need a hint....

Geaux Cajuns!!!!

You sound like a whiny biatch. Is UL that much in your head? I guess so.
Seriously. If you’re sitting at home on Championship Saturday bitching about other people’s schools (while your school is at the bottom of its conference), you have some fricked up priorities.
