Dallas police confirmed a few people were taken to a hospital all treated with minor injuries, so no Ruggs situation here. Glad nobody was seriously hurt. Chiefs have the best lawyers in the league. Sounds like this is something that will blow over in a few months and Rice should be ready to suit up for the 3-peat season.

Huh? If the person in the hospital dies the difference is we just won’t have a formal radar speed or a BAC measurement since he fled

That’s a pretty big hairy if

Seems like a typical week for the Georgia football team.

Do you really want to base criminal law on what the state can't prove (but wants to)? Think about the implications across the board.
A stiffer penalty prevents people from just running every time. Preventative measure are different than prosecuting on "what we want it to be". Aren't you a lawyer? How does that need to be explained to you?

Driving like a maniac and causing a crash is exactly what Ruggs did. Saying this isn’t as bad jsut because thank god someone didn’t die makes no sense to me. You judge the action not the result

I don’t view someone that shoots someone in a robbery in a better or worse light jsut because the victim dies or survives

Driving like a maniac and driving like a drunken maniac are two very different situations IMO.

Both still very wrong

I think they're arguing the drinking makes it worse.

while I get what youre saying and morally youre probably right the law doesnt work that way. nor should it. As messed up as it may be the law has to take the result into consideration.

It is crazy to me how all anyone cares about is winning (I realize even fans of teams I like are this way).

We embrace horrible human beings like Joe Mixon and Tyreek Hill to win games.

People like you don't care that the dude drag races a busy highway, causes crashes that sends people to the hospital, runs away from the crime scene, and makes half of Dallas sit in traffic while his mess is cleaned up.

There’s nothing that’s come out yet to confirm he was even at the crash site. Dash cam footage doesn’t confirm this. All we know is the car was registered to Rice. Could have been his friend taking it out for a spin, as Dallas is his home town. Or his car was stolen. Nice try though.

ETA: I could turn the tables on you. People like you want Rice to be involved and the accident to be as terrible as possible so the Chiefs, a team that everyone hates now like the Patriots for winning too much don’t have their WR1 and have a lesser chance of winning another SB.

Do you have any proof or real reasoning to suspect that?
Or do you just like spewing more BS on the feed

Bro, you are delusional.
I don't necessarily mind the chiefs. I like Mahomes. Didn't care for Tyreek Hill after his treatment of the pregnant girl. I think Kecle is a really rich meathead.

I do like Andy Reid.

I think speeding or running a red light or stop sign should be mandatory jail time. No ticket...first offense, straight to jail.
