CFB - 5 years ago I never would have thought I'd have NFL over college, but NIL has killed my fandom a bit
Golf
NBA - Interest is down because of rigging the draft
MMA/Boxing
F1
College Womens Gymnastics
MLB - Would have been #2 behind CFB 15 years ago but Selig ruined it
Hockey - Playoff are insane good
College Baseball

778. AAU Cornhole
779. Major League Dodgeball
780. WNBA

1. College football: NIL and realignment is a bit overblown. College football still rules. Saturdays in the Fall on an SEC campus are still the best sporting experience around. And my team can't get up and leave because we didn't pay for a billionaire's stadium, like a pro franchise.

[big gap]

2. Motorsports

3. NFL

4. NBA

5. College basketball

6. MLB, playoffs jump up a couple spots

7. English Premier League

1. MLB - such an underrated product. I understand it can be hard to get into if you don’t have a baseball background, but if you’re in to baseball, the MLB still hits.

2. CFB - my interest has definitely waned over the past five years, but it still has a level of gameday excitement and pageantry that can’t be matched.

3. NFL - solid product all-around. however, I don’t like how it’s seeped so much into mainstream culture and become go-to water cooler talk.

4. NHL - also underrated and something i’ve taken more of an interest in lately. Arguably the best playoffs of all the major sports, but have yet to lock in for a full regular season.

5. College Baseball - helps when you’re an LSU fan.

6. College Basketball - overrated if you ask me but I respect the passion.

7. NBA - could not care less.

Dont watch anything else consistently/have low interest in the other sports. I'm sure if LSU still had Wade I'd be more interested in basketball

College hoops kinda died for me way back when the one and done stuff kicked off. I’ll watch a few LSU games and a couple tournament games here and there but the games are kinda boring so I can’t watch much more than that.

You guys who talk down to college football are just funny and are being proven wrong. Stadiums are packed, ratings are high, and more playoff spots have brought more interest from more fanbases. Heck, even the announcers are getting better at not telling us where they transferred from every play.

As I stated a year ago when everyone was whining about NIL and the portal, 99% of fans root for their teams jersey and care less about the individual player. Auburn fans are now cheering for a former OU QB. Wake fans are very happy with a former Auburn QB. I’m very happy with my former A&M QB. Miami loves their former dog. FSU was saved by a BC QB. Tennessee loves the portal because they don’t have that UCLA guy.

Bottom line, much like integration, API, and other things, the portal and NIL are now just an accepted part of the game and no big deal. My team hasn’t missed our WR who went to Auburn one bit - and it’s because everyone is replaceable as long as your coach has a clue.

College football - Biggest decline in quality over the past 5 years or so. NIL and the transfer portal hurt football more than basketball to me. Traditional bowl season has been killed. Traditional conference alignments continue to fade away. I could go on. It's still football at least.

I disagree. Prior to NIL you had 4-5 teams at the top every year. It’s a little more competitive now. Like it or not NIL gives a team the ability to attract players it might once not been able.

1. CFB - my interest in the sport has taken a real hit since covid. I hate NIL, unlimited transfers, and super conferences. Hopefully, they will improve the playoff system and figure out some NIL/transfer guardrails soon to get the sport some more sustainability. It helps that LSU might be good this season.

2. NFL. For all its flaws, it still has the best regular season of any professional sport. The Saints are baaaaaaad, though.

3. NHL. I am really liking how they have developed the league and made it easy to watch on tv. Really fun despite me not having an obvious team to root for. I am hoping NOLA gets an expansion team, though I highly doubt it.

4. college baseball: unwatchable on tv, but LSU is consistently good and I enjoy attending games

5. NBA: live games are fun but the regular season is arse, stars never play, and the Pels are awful. I would care more if they Pels were good.

5. Minor league hockey: lets go Zydeco!

6. MLB: I sorta watch some playoff games sometimes. Regular season is literally unwatchable, both figuratively and literally.

Probably the only person on this site with where my interest lies

MLB/Premier League tied for 1st

Cfb
College Baseball

And I usually watch most of the golf majors (loved the tennis majors when Fed/Nadal/Djoker were all elite but haven’t followed in years)

That’s about it as far as what I follow closely.

I’ll watch less than 5 min of NFL until the playoffs

I’ll watch 0 min of NHL regular season but love the Stanley cup. This would skyrocket towards the top if Houston got a team

College hoops only watch March madness unless LSU is good. I enjoyed having something to watch during the winter during the Will Wade era

You’d have to pay me to watch NBA
