Hope they released whoever was responsible for blocking Greg Rousseau too.

Tough life being a kicker sometimes. He was pretty solid last year.
If his OT field goal isn't blocked yesterday, he is still on the team.

This was like when the Falcons lost the Super Bowl instead of firing Quinn or Shanahan for absolute ineptitude, they fired defensive coordinator Richard Smith and defensive line coach Bryan Cox

He hasn’t been good but that block wasn’t his fault.

Tough life, but when they said 5'11" 240+ I couldn't help but laugh. He plays kicker & looks like a caricature of a player that showed up to camp out of shape.

There's no way he gets respect in the locker room after the loss yesterday

Heard they’re bringing in Blake Grupe, good luck to them.

Saints fans’ luck tho, he becomes all pro, Justin Tucker 2.0

When you blow a 25 point lead in the forth quarter, It's usually the defensive coordinator who takes the blame...

Circumstances matter. Shanahan lost them that game. Quinn was on the headset and never thought to stop and ask Shanahan what the frick are you doing? If I owned the Falcons I would have fired Quinn on the field as soon as the game ended I wouldn't have let that imbecile, make it to the locker room. Shanahan already had a new job lined up.

In Gomer Pyle's classic voice,' Surprise, Surprise, Surprise.'

If he wasn't packing last night, he's even more clueless

Firing the HC or OC of a team who made the Super Bowl with a 2nd ranked offense would be certifiably insane

That was an inexcusable debacle, and heads should have rolled but to fire the defensive coaches was laughable and peak Arthur Blank. Quinn was on the headset listening to his OC essentially throw the game away

I don’t know. Didn’t he come into the game like 5/8, and missed a FG in the first quarter last night? I think the writing was on the wall before OT.

It's not that long ago that the Saints sh*t canned Morten Andersen because he was old and worn out.
The Falcons found out something about Saints management with that hire.

Sign him Saints. I want to see how big he can get kicking in New Orleans with all that delicious food available.

I really don’t trust Carlson, but I’d prefer bringing Smythe off the practice squad to Mevis.

McVay's dumbass settled for a long FG AFTER this dude had already missed one about the same distance. And they were moving the ball well. Just dumb

I think he was 5/7 before last night's overtime blocked FG.

Don't care that he was shite canned but the blocked FG was not primarily his doings, the offensive line allowed Rosseau to get into the backfield and block that kick. I think it was Dotson who was responsible for Rosseau?

Rams woke up with the red-arse this morning. They shite-canned Mevis and had his replacement signed, all before lunch on the West Coast.

RIP Thiccer Kicker

5 of 7 and the missed FG in 1st quarter was a 50+ yarder.
Was also 92% last year (played 2nd half of season).
