I'd say entitlement has eaten at the culture of every major football program. But, it's especially highlighted at a place like Texas where you think you've arrived and the logo wins games. Combine that with undeserved media hype, a larger bullseye on your back and feeling extra pressure, and you have what we're seeing now.

That said, Champ's held up his end of the bargain. He seems to be able to see through all of that and coach up his players in such a way that they don't assume they're owed anything. Sark should be picking his brain right about now.

Nobody knows for sure, but I'd be for giving him some 1st team reps this week and putting him in if Arch continues his struggles. More of a threat to run. Plus, doubt he'd be any worse at seeing the field right now. :lol:

Bo's play last night looks a whole lot like his HS and Auburn film. The only dude who's game-planned that to success is Will Stein. Nix owes most (all?) of his career to that dude.

Bet you could add up the growth in 9-12U travel ball attendance over those three years and it'd be an eerily similar number.

Because we all know that paying $50 for you and your kid to watch pros playing the game doesn't do as much for his development as traveling 6 hours, paying $500 for hotels and going 1-5 does. :lol:

That's where we differ I guess. I generally think of the "better runner" as the guy who's hardest to tackle in the open field. But, if you define it as who makes the absolute most out of his runs, I'd agree it's Allen.

Lamar and Vick were 4.4 dudes. They are the most naturally gifted running QB's I've ever seen. That said, Allen just seems to always know the perfect moment to take off. Plus, the major work he put into becoming a more accurate passer has made those moments even more lethal.
