So glad he's gone.
Hugh's hiring was a John Cohen special. They're two peas in a pod.

I was excited about the hire when it happened but this year there hasn’t been much to be excited about.
The last few weeks have been. Should even make the tourney. Credit to Miller for the improvement.

Texas really controlled that whole second half.
I know better than to get my hopes up, but since the last week of January we’ve started to figure some things out.

What a grouping of straight up :pimp:'s!

I mean, seriously, what is going on with this guy?!
This is a pro sport with precisely zero rules. So, enough with the Pearl clutching.

I'm all for this. But, since everyone in CBB is a paid employee, what's the difference between a 20 year old man working for the pros and then returning to work for a college and a 40 year old coach who does the same?
Brown's a great pickup. Definitely an upgrade over your last two QB's.

He had probably an all time terrible individual performance in a SB.
I tuned out after the 1st Q since it was clear how the game was gonna go. But, the few times I did check in, it didn’t look like New England gave him any help. If that’s the case, then the last three quarters of his abysmal play are on the coaches as much as him.
I agree with many of the arguments Sankey's making here. But, bylaw 12.6 is going to be a hard sell now that the courts have defined these programs as "for profit".

We are already number 1.
Ha! Meant Dallas Baptist.
Predicting DBU to be on this list by the end of the year.

I should round-up some Buccee's money and have it named the the "Texas Bites" Center.
If it meant having more Buccee's around Austin, it'd still be worth it, name and all.

Especially with the winter Olympics going on.
Dude, the first half of 2026 is amazing...

CFP, winter Olympics, Six Nations, Super Bowl, World Baseball Classic, March Madness, Masters, Wimbledon and World Cup. That's not even mentioning spring training, college baseball/softball, NBA Finals & some of the big annual races.

Is there any truth to the rumor that it will be named the Oilcan Harry's Center?
You interested in naming rights? If so, feel free to fill out this form.
Think it's behind when they wanted it open, but it'll be nice to finally have football ops consolidated to one spot on campus. Plus, relocating to Webb makes sense for the School of Social Work too.

Hands down the best time on the sports calendar.

LSU and OU are the two most likely I figure.
LSU maybe. But, we’re OU’s daddy now.

Stop posting and pay attention to your teacher.
The fact that "No Bachelor's Degree" already tops the list is telling. Think that gap is just going to widen dramatically in the days ahead.

but we DO have this...
And, that’s why he chose Texas, just like Hollywood.
