That is hot. Both good enough to make it if they didn’t play each other. The loser, however, has a really tough road since there’s still only 4 spots. Not that they couldn’t make it, it would just leave them no room for error.

And even if the winner of that game loses a game later in the season and they both finish with the same record, the winner will get the benefit of the doubt to break the tie.

Jayden Daniels regresses and gets injured halfway through the season. Garrett Nussmeier comes in, finishes the season with the SEC and national titles, and everyone is going “Jayden who?”

Florida makes big strides in Napier’s second year and wins 9-10 games.

Georgia Tech fans watch the Jackets limp through another losing season and wish someone would run the triple option again.

USC loses to another inferior opponent.

Colorado wins 2-3 games, and is largely uncompetitive.

Nebraska goes back to using true fullbacks in 90% of its offensive formations and wins 7-8 games.

Wisconsin will be bad in Fickell’s first year. The transition to the spread will be all flash and no substance.

Jimbo Fisher will be fired after another lackluster year.

The CFP will consist of LSU, Clemson, Ohio State, and a 1 loss Georgia.

New OC actually utilizes Cook correctly. Top 10 returning defensive production. Luther Burden III breakout season.

It can definitely happen.

Have you seen Florida’s schedule? They play five teams that will be ranked 10-15 in the preseason poll. (Georgia, LSU, FSU, Tennessee and Utah) Plus South Carolina and Kentucky, who ought to be decent. And they’ve got a not great QB situation. Sun Belt Billy is liable to go 5-7.
Here’s my hot take: When the 2025 season starts, Shane Beamer is the head coach of the Florida Gators.

LSU’s QB doesn’t have much room to improve from last year and might not even be all that good and FSU is in a MUCH better position to solidify themselves as a truly top 5 team.

ETA: This is not a troll.

UGA will lose a game it shouldn't. I'll say to South Carolina in Athens.

Under Fickell, I get my hopes up , UW struggles , makes some BS bowl, and makes me drink even more than last year

ETA: I bet Fickell will enjoy being doused in mayo

Did they get a new head coach? Drink has proven, he is not a good coach, is clueless, cocky, and pisses down his leg when he actually has to coach.

You meant 5 wins this season, 5 next?

Not after the inevitable random loss to Georgia Tech or getting blasted by underachieving NC State on Thanksgiving weekend.
