I'm shocked Jason Kidd is as high as he is in threes. It was gospel for over a decade that he was a poor shooter

He became much better later in his career and the 3-ball also became more commonplace than at the beginning of his career.

I'm sure everyone here is well aware of it, but Frank Gore being 3rd in career rush yards behind only Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton is the poster child for being this kind of stat.

He wasn’t that bad after 1 or 2 years in the NBA. 37% from deep in year 3 which was the 4th highest percentage of his career.

I know I'm not an NBA fan when I've never seen the name or heard of Buddy Hield

tbh I remember him only because of what he did in college.

I'll never forget the day he raped Ben Simmons at LSU. What an absolute beatdown he put on him and to this day he still hasn't recovered

you'll never forget the 2 point win "beatdown"? He and Simmons also didn't match up against each other. Heild did have his way with the LSU guards, though

Mitchell Robinson, 26 years old and second all time in New York Knicks franchise history for blocked shots (one of the original franchises)

Admittedly he’s not catching Patrick Ewing

It's not that simple. Ben Simmons did a major disappearing act while Buddy was draining 3s left and right. It was an absolute embarrassment

What a total loser he turned out to be

Vinny Testaverde still being in the top 20 all time passing yards surprises me a little. I didn't know he played that long though I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention

Some of these franchise ones are crazy

Gorgiu Dieng is 3rd all time in T-Wolves blocks. I know not an original franchise but still insane for a guy who averaged 20 minutes a game and was only there for 6 years

Frank Fricken Gore

Compiled the majority of his numbers on some crappy Niners teams, then showed out when he was past his prime.

When people think of the 80s NBA superstars they always think of Bird v. Magic and the rise of Jordan and the other Dream Teamers.

But Alex English scored the most points that decade, followed by Adrian Dantley.

Always amazes me Ichiro is 32 all time in at bats, 6th in singles, 35th in stolen bases, and 25th in hits despite not playing in MLB until he was 27

On the subject of Curtis Martin, he holds the Patriots team record for most thousand yard rushing seasons with three, the only three years he played with them. Pretty sure he is the only player who is currently the all time team leader in thousand yard rushing seasons for two different teams.

I’ve always had babe Ruth Hank Aaron and Willie mays as my top three, but if Ted doesn’t miss any time due to the war he may have been my #1. You will never again see a player win the triple crown and NOT win the mvp.

The Top 20 NFL All-Time Receiving Single-Season Yards Leaders are all from 1995- Present (as you would expect from the changed sport as it was before, to now Tecmo Bowl.)

But sandwiched between all the lucky receivers who got to play now, accumulating misleading stats for HOF consideration is....

#10 Charley Hennigan (1961)Who?

He had 82 receptions for 1,746 receiving yrs in 1961 , his average YPC was 21.3 yards. He also had 12 Tds.
