I've seen others do that, Favre is the Master at it, that is why he keeps thinkin he can get away with it! but my point is Rivers will not certify he is bigtime until he wins in the playoffs like other great QB's!

The career arcs of Rivers and Manning are remarkably similar. Great QB's, great stats, very few interceptions, great regular season records, very suspect playoff records and stats.

Rivers needs to crack through and win a Super Bowl before he's a candidate for elite. I'd rank him 5 below Brees, Manning, Brady, and Rogers though. That's not bad at all.

I'm still waiting for this guy to show me elite QB skills.

Yeah--he's uber talented for sure.

But he is the exact opposite of what a leader should be.

And his team reflects that attitude with their lack of discipline, annual slow starts and playoff fizzles.

His last 2 throws with the game on the line were horrible

the pass to Davis, if he doesnt slip, is a TD.

and hte last pass, if Floyd doesnt slip, is prob caught.

I hate the dude, but like Jandro said, he is a good QB.

Let's not forget his talking shite from the sidelines and incidents where his mouth got him and his team in trouble.

This is true, but mostly because a lot of NFL players are emotionally like women.

Rivers needs an asswhipping in the worse way. I wish one of the raider fans would just jump on the field and mug him.

San Diego dominated the game. KC took advantage of sloppy conditions and 2 special teams plays.

On a sunny day in San Diego, the Chiefs get beat.

I don't mind his jawing at the opposing team because its pretty common practice at every other position other than qb, but chewing your teammates' arse out on national tv like that is pretty shitty.

Agree 100%. Him jawing at oposing QB's is one thing. Jumping teammates shite repeatedly, on the field, is something else. I keep waitting for one of his linemen to grab him by his freeking throat.

Rivers and the play calling lost that game. When it's that wet and you have 1 and goal with about 5 yards to go and 2 or 3 timeouts, how about giving the ball the Ryan Mathews and letting him pound the ball in. He was averaging ~4 ypc.

I'd be very tempted to bench Rivers out of principle.
