If it doesn't rain Chargers win IMO.
Plus they just mugged Gates all night.

I like him, even though I thought when he got pissed at Davis for slipping at the goal line was kinda ridiculous.

I think in hindsight Rivers will be pissed he didn't just tuck it and run right there.
Wet field, looks like he'd have made it. Take the safe way out on a wild and crazy night like tonight.
That fricking draw call on 2nd and goal from the 4th was just beyond terrible. The Chargers coaches should be rounded up, combined with the Cowboys and LSU coaches, and shot.

Man as I was watching this game, I just couldn't believe that Rivers is still as immature as he is.
He went out of his way to get in Buster Davis' face during a potentially game tying drive--and for what? Because Davis slipped on the wet field.
I mean, here your team is, trying to win a football game and instead of being a leader and moving on to the next play, you serve as the main distraction.
Not to mention, earlier he yelled at one of his o-linemen for moving early.
His actions really explain why San Diego underachieves every single year. I can't imagine why anybody would want to follow him or truly play all out for him.
Dude really needs to grow up.

If he doesnt lose a few players in that clubhouse after tonight, i would be surprised.
He chewed out at least 5 guys. Ive never seen a QB do that. Leaders don't do that. Not on the field in front of everyone.
Bitching at Buster Davis cause he slipped?? come on.
You'd never catch Brees throw a hissy fit like that. Ive seen Peyton Manning get on teammates before, but not in that manner. I know he was mad, but all that was pretty unprofessional

Dan Marino and Bobby Hebert were pretty bad - especially Marino.
But I have to agree I don't think that I've ever seen a QB be this blatant and to so many guys in one quarter of football.
With that said, Rivers is so good he can nearly back it up.

he's not that good, he's proven himself, but in clutch situation he's failed badly!

that pass he threw where he scrambled to his left and threw across his body on the run was the best throw ive seen in a long time. i think it was early 4th quarter. like a 15 yard pass but just unreal.

His last 2 throws with the game on the line were horrible. Especially the 3rd down throw to the back of the endzone. Shaq couldn't have caught that thing.
