From a full blown alcoholic I can attest to the fact that a lot of times I had very rational thoughts.

But the idea that family and such were not with him is also on him… people like him and I are super people pleasers. If we don’t see that we pleasing people then we freak… the dude seemed to struggle with a lot of things and could not overcome them on his own… very sad that a person as talented as he was esp as a golfer which is high on focus and attention to detail was able to accomplish so much.

Lol, rich coming from you and all the other professional LIV haters these past 2 seasons. The PGA Tour failed Grayson and it’s not terribly surprising. Their disregard for their players has been playing out in front of the public eye for the past 2 years now.

Not the tour's responsibility to make sure your alcoholic arse don't off yourself.

I haven’t seen the interview yet but he seems like as good a guy as it gets. He’d me a massive fan favorite if he competed just a little more.

Feel terrible for him and everyone involved.

That’s how I was thinking about it.

As in things were so bad in his mind that suicide is potentially a rational thought. Which, is a horrific thought.

That’s what I meant by shite attitude. He knows very well what he’s dealing with and his quotes there were pretty shitty.

Suicide note or myocarditis autopsy.
IgG4 -RD from Covid & Shots, Have no choice to be sure.
possible that coronary artery involvement from IgG4-RD remains an under-reported disease manifestation due to it being falsely attributed to atherosclerotic coronary artery disease clinically, which is very common in middle-aged and older males.

I kept thinking they'd cut away or end it or whatever... but Amanda just sat there while he cried... and got himself composed.... and I was glad they didn't end it.

Where was his caddy? I don’t know how these work, I’d assume the guys often times have family with them? I guess maybe that’s just majors? Do they not room together? I mean not share a hotel, I just thought maybe they’d get a suite or a house with other players, family, or their caddy.

This wouldn’t be the 1st time the PGA Tour blatantly disregarded the well being of players on their tour.

The LIV Tour was created due to the PGA Tour not being very player, human, or family friendly. The commissioner does not really respect the players and that’s why we have another golf tour and a dead pga golfer right now.

Oh yeah, if there's anything the Saudis are known for, it's being very friendly and respectful to humans who work for them.

Bro yall have literally turned every single golf topic/thread into a diatribe against the LIV tour for the last 2 years. You don’t get to act all high and mighty and to ignore the PGA tour’s role in this. You simply don’t see this type of thing happening on the LIV Tour because it was created by players, with other players in mind, to alleviate these types of issues.

A young man lost his life at least partly due to the PGA Tour refusing to give him help or proper resources. It is a legitimate talking point.

A lot of you MF’s hated on every single player that chose a better work/life balance by choosing the LIV. Meanwhile, the remaining players on the Tour still suffer from this work/life balance issue. And the Tour still doesn’t care to change and support its players. It’s the reason why half the top 20 is on another tour right now. The PGA Commish is an enormous, arrogant, flippant, POS that only cares about himself and not about the physical or mental well being of the players..

I so so so so so wish there was a way to block people here. Or better yet that the denizens of this site’s cesspool, aka the politics board, would keep such discussions there. (I don’t call it a cesspool for partisan reasons, I don’t discuss politics or religion online because it’s my business and no one else’s, but I will violate that because I expect to be called an evil something or other by saying I have no use for either side or prevailing philosophy anymore and have tuned completely out and currently do not plan to vote this year.)

Grayson Murray was a known anti-vaxxer you tool
quote:

“Personally I’m not into the scare of the whole thing,” he said. “That’s my take on it. Now that the vaccine is out, people are going to get it. If they choose not to get it, that’s fine.

“Technically it’s not FDA approved,” Murray said. “Last time I checked it wasn’t. I don’t know what people’s complications from it will be years from now. I’ll do it when it’s FDA approved. I’ve already had (COVID-19). I’m not going to die from it. If it makes my life easier out here I’m pretty much forced to do it. That’s pretty much what the tour’s doing, which I don’t agree with. ... If 60 or 70 percent of the guys out here are vaccinated I don’t think there’s any issue. ...

“I think at some point we’re all just over it and we’re ready to get back to normal life. It took longer than it should have, to be honest. ... I feel bad for those businesses who shut down because of who their governor is or who was in charge of allowing the states to open up. I have my political view and I’m very open about it, but I also respect everybody’s opinion about it.”

People like you having cavalier attitudes about this subject is why we have a mental health epidemic In this country.

this is such a cop out it’s borderline insane. societal attitudes have little to no impact on why every third person you run into is on a psychiatric drug. it obviously cant be our ridiculous diets, pervasiveness of technology, the effects of industrialization on familial structure, the fact that our culture literally celebrates mental illness. our obsession with talk therapy, drug and alcohol consumption, lack of belief in anything. no, none of that. it’s the skeptics that are causing it

Have any of the social media posts made it here yet?

A few people have made posts showing Murray reaching out to them and letting them know they’re not alone in their mental health issues. Some dating back 8 years. He bought one guy a vehicle for the guy’s family because they had hit rock bottom, way before he ever won.
