The thing about Connors is he absolutely will be playing out of the fairway most of the day tomorrow. On this course, man that’s tempting

Yep. They got the best of the draw today with it only raining for about 9 of their holes vs. what the early players had to deal with.
I’m hoping we see a firmer, faster course tomorrow since it looks like there’s going to be a little wind and it’s sunny.
Also, Nantz seems unaware that if Scottie makes bogey he’d play with Block and Rory would play with Rose.

Historical context:
Winners of 5 plus professional majors. (19 in total)
Vardon 1903 British Open Age 33 5 of 7
Braid 1910 British Open Age 40 5 of 5
Taylor 1913 British Open Age 42 5 of 5
Hagen 1924 British Open Age 31 5 of 11
Jones 1929 US Open Age 27 5 of 7
Sarazen 1932 US Open Age 30 5 of 7
Nelson 1945 PGA Age 33 5 of 5
Hogan 1951 Masters Age 38 5 of 9
Snead 1951 PGA Age 38 5 of 7
Palmer 1962 Masters Age 32 5 of 7
Thomson 1965 British Open Age 35 5 of 5
Jack 1966 Masters Age 26 5 of 18
Player 1968 British Open Age 32 5 of 9
Trevino 1974 PGA Age 34 5 of 6
Watson 1981 Masters Age 31 5 of 8
Seve 1988 British Open Age 31 5 of 5
Faldo 1992 British Open Age 35 5 of 6
Tiger 2000 PGA Age 24 5 of 15
Phil 2013 British Open Age 43 5 of 6
It's been a hell of a long time since someone not named Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson got to 5. Brooks would also be middle of the pack as far as age to get to 5.
Nelson Snead Trevino and Woods are the guys who got #5 at the PGA.
There have been 2 13 year gaps and 2 11 year gaps from one 5 time major champion to the next. Brooks would make the fifth longest stretch without a new 5 time winner.

Can Block accept the prize money for where ever he ends up ?
Is there a difference in a club pro and a touring pro with a card ?
Posted on 5/21/23 at 8:28 am to The Torch
He isn’t an amateur, so yes he can accept the money
Posted on 5/21/23 at 10:21 am to The Torch
Yes and he has been winning a little prize money already in other events not sure where he did that. He only teaching a few hours a week now according to his interview.
I really look forward to Tandy’s golf in general and would love to see him do play some clutch golf and finish in the top 10.

Looks like there are some lower scores out there today relative to the rest of the week.
Course just isn’t as firm after the rain yesterday. Hopefully the Sun getting out will firm things up.

This final round is going to be so good.
Koepka's confidence is off the charts even after a 4th round stumble at the Masters. Going for #5 which is rare company. Trying to be the 1st LIV golfer to win one.
Hovland going for his first. One of the best players in the world but has had a few 4th round stumbles.
Conners is playing as good as anybody in the past month or so.
Bryson being another LIV guy at the top and bouncing back after a couple bad showings. Confidence seems to be high and well within striking distance.
Rose, imo, is still in contention, just needs to play really good and have some breaks go his way with the guys in front.
Edit: can't believe I forgot about Scottie. Definitely could make a run, im rooting for him to get the win.

Phil the Thrill just bested JT in their head-to-head match play. Phil just finished with a birdie on 18 to finish off JT and "Bones" with a 70.
Not bad for a 53-year-old golfer.

Hilarious! You quoted and created a meme for a perfectly normal post. You're a weird dude.

The worst bet in majors the last few years is poised to have 4/5 top 10s and potentially 3/5 top 5s, bro
Just admit the paddy angers you
