I don't expect the jets to take a qb if they don't get the #1 pick. I'm hearing Sewell with the first pick them wr with their second pick of the first round.

That might change with the new coach though.

I rather the Steelers take Mac Jones.

I'm not trying to shite on Jones, but I honestly don't see any difference between him and AJ McCarron.

He throws a consistently better deep ball than AJ but I don't think his accuracy overall comes close to what his high completion % implies. I think he'll have problems with tighter windows in the NFL with that and his below NFL average arm strength.

I'd say as a prospect he's about halfway between McCarron and Matt Ryan, which would put him in the 3rd round.

I could see that.

This might be homer, but the one thing I'll say about Trask, is that while he may not have the GREATEST arm, hes consistently thrown until tight windows with defenses dropping back 8 in coverage all year, and hes beat it. With no running game.

Frankly, I don't think either is a first round pick, but obviously the draft projections see them differently.

I'm not a homer and am higher on Trask than Jones because I agree about his better accuracy and, while his arm is not as strong as you'd think for his size, it is likely better than Jones. Trask seems to me to be a solid 2nd rounder although I don't think a team picking him later in the first would be really overreaching considering he's a QB.

Jones and Trask are both slow as a statue. I would be hesitant to take QBs like that anymore.

My issue with Jones is everythings been too easy in college. How good is he when he doesn't have superior talent around him.

Rookie QBs don’t magically make a terrible offensive line better. A terrible offensive line can ruin a great QB (Luck) or prevent a qb from having a shot at decent career (David Carr).

Lmao. I don’t care if Sewell is Orlando Pace. You don’t pass up a franchise QB with Trevors talent for a goddamn tackle.

I haven’t seen anything from Trask that tells me he’s better at football than Mac

Chase is the best NFL WR in the draft and I really don’t think it’s that close

I would give this a pass as homerism, but you’ve seen Smith absolutely rape LSU twice now

It's true.

Chase is the best receiver in this class, and those little burners like Smith bust more often.
