He's a good coach. Its not a homerun hire or outside the box thinking, but its a fine hire and most people are ok with it.

He's a generally safe bet.

It’s not an inspired hire but I’m a lot happier about SVG than I was with Alvin Gentry. Stan is a good coach and a smart basketball mind. I’m willing to see how it goes.

Probably could've done better, definitely could've done worse.

I agree with this. Probably a safe hire, but I'm not really impressed with it. Lukewarm.

He’s the best the Pels could get. I’m happy with the hire.

He's a good hire considering the two best jobs on the market ended up with Ty Lue and Doc Rivers as their head coaches.

Considering he's super woke, SVG and Brees will be best friends in NOLA.

He’s a good coach that just had some bad luck in Detroit. We’ll see if working with a high ceiling big in Zion works out like with Dwight.

Not a flashy hire, but proven and I’m about 10x happier with this one than Gentry

Why do these jobs just keep getting recycled?

Do NBA owners really hate thinking out of the box?

Is coaching at that level harder that it would seem and these are the only guys that can consistently do it?

Or is it just the simple fact that in the NBA you either have the players or you don't so coaching doesn't really move the needle too much?
