Incredible how these folks thought they’d get away with it. How disgusting to tell your kid he has cancer.

The 9-year-old diehard Syracuse football fan was invited to practice on Monday and got to meet all of his favorite players. He played catch with receiver Erv Philips and linebacker Kielan Whitner. He exchanged throwing tips with quarterback Eric Dungey. He received well wishes from every member of the Orange's coaching staff, including head coach Dino Babers. And at the end of practice, linebacker Zaire Franklin brought CJ into the team's huddle and let him break down a "Family" chant

GoFundMe has been a scam for years.
They call it Go Fraud Me.
It's basically just internet panhandlers.
This is from an investigator who has chronicled TheGoFundMe scam like Elliot Ness.
“People should really not take everything they see on go fund me at face value.
“I do think of course every online campaign is a scam. I have to. I assume it’s a scam until proven otherwise.
“I think people should automatically be suspicious if someone just reaches out to you out of nowhere, someone you don’t know, presents you with some sob story in your facebook inbox, I would steer very clear from those.”

Why go through the trouble to create a scam just to hang out with Syracuse? Geez...if you are gonna do it, go for a top tier school.

Their punishment should be cancer.

The parents won. They can never take the fraudulently gained memories away.

Syracuse should be partly responsible too... They did it for good PR

Pretty good scam if you don’t get caught. May look into doing something like this.

If O could've gotten a Syracuse interview he wouldn't have fallen for that.
