Ok dipshit

Where did I say the #2 should start?

I never even said he should have played.

All I said is that understand why the kid and his dad would be disappointed that he didn’t play.

I guess reading comprehension isn’t your strong point you fricking idiot.

Not surprised it happened at Vandy. They have a track record with all kinds of different issues.

So the lesser player should have pitched in the state final?

I thought we were anti participation trophies?

Jesus fricking Christ some of you nitwits need to learn to read.

Not a single person has said the # 2 should start and not a single person even says he should have played.
Not a single person has tried to justify or defend the dad’s actions.

All that was said is that it’s understandable that the kid and the dad might be disappointed that he didn’t play in the game.

I even said in my first post that you don’t argue your kids playing time with the coach. But you idiots conveniently ignore that.

It’s incomprehensible how you knuckle dragging mouth breathers can’t understand such a simple concept.

Dad is an idiot. It’s baseball where you need a whole pitching staff to win a championship. So your son didn’t pitch in the championship game. He was still an important season long piece in winning the championship and not pitching in the last game doesn’t diminish that. But you getting arrested for punching the coach does.

The coach won the championship and he STILL wanted him fired

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Gee thanks dad. I wouldn't be surprised mom hasn't gotten some of that anger in the past.

I would think it’s a dad that financially supported the program and expected that to translate into some consideration It happens everywhere The only situation that could arise is a blowout either way and the kid not participate at all to make a man do something that stupid

My thoughts exactly.

My HS was like this. The better athletes didn't play in several sports bc the coaches would play the kids whose parents donated to the school. Everyone knew it too, including the players.

So post a pic of the dad. Not cool to post the whole family, especially underage kids.

ETA: good on the admins to take the post with the family pic down

Stupid actions cause bad consequences. My mom used to just yell when she was upset about a call behind the back stop sitting in her lawn chair puffing on a heater. Good times.

Who do you argue it with? No excuse for what the parent did, but Coaches have their own agendas too and I’ve seen so often kids playing and getting opportunities in which they were not the better athlete or player. Since we expect parents to help the program, fundraise, work and get things done for the program, make sure the kids attend practice and all those things, coaches should offer some transparency.

If you think it’s OK to post a family pic with 3 underage kids because the dad was an a-hole, then you might be a bigger a-hole than he is.
