It's amazing that Lovie Smith winning that last game cost.

2 1st round picks
2 2nd round picks
DJ Moore

Damn

While I was laughing hard at the Texans, they didn't lose that stuff because they won't be trading out. They're going with whatever QB the Panthers don't take now. Had they stayed at #1 they woud've been able to decide who they want.

I don't think it should ever be considered this way. Yes they gave up their 1st rounder this year to get a higher first round pick.

So essentially you are only losing 1 first round pick next year.

All of the sudden, a pass-catching group of DJ Moore, Darnell Mooney, Chase Claypool, and Cole Kmet doesn’t look too terrible.

The Bears will likely spend their available cap at OL and give Justin Fields every opportunity to take a step forward.

This makes the Bears at 9 a really interesting spot as well. Panthers Texans and Colts go QBs most likely, but now they are either most likely looking at either the top OT, Carter or maybe even trading back for whoever wants QB4 if Seattle does not go QB.

I liked the idea of trading back and then trading back a 2nd time, but if they thought Moore before FA makes more sense long term I don't fault them...

have to guess if a team moves up that far to 1 it's for Stroud, but I could be wrong.

Don’t know why this is getting downvoted, I think it’s gotta be for Stroud too.

If someone trades up with Arizona the colts might be fricked at 4 now

The #Panthers paid a big price to jump from No. 9 to No. 1, but worth noting: They still have a second-round pick (No. 39) this year, and they didn’t have to give up their first-rounder in 2025. The Christian McCaffrey trade provided flexibility. Now they can go get their QB.

All they gave up was a future 1st and their 2nds the next 2 years? And a guy they won't re-sign? Anyone think that's a pittance to move up from 9 to 1 compared to the SF trade a few years ago?

They went 5-3 last 8. I think they have pieces and decent coaching. And they had NOOOO qb.

And just think, had those idiots not won week 18 with a last second field goal against the Saints, they’d have been in a better position.

frick it’s hard being a Panthers fan. Move the team to London.

Wtf are the Panthers doing? There's no QB in this draft worth giving up all that. Did they frick up and think Caleb Williams is available this year?

Can’t wait to watch the Panthers go full retard and take Anthony Richardson 1st overall. Gotta get that Cam Newton 2.0
