Are usc fans happy to watch their former conference burn? Really curious on that fanbase reaction.

Oh yes. These scumbags deserve every single thing happening to them.

I feel bad for Wazzu and Oregon St fans and that’s about it. They are good people and are getting screwed.

We’re talking about the PAC 12 here. They are barely going to be Mountain West status once all the good schools bolt

Frick I hope there is room for us in the Big 12 when the ACC implodes in a few years

There’s something really funny about Colorado running away from the big12 because they thought they were better than them having to come crawling back

Depending on how many Pac teams the Big 12 takes, the ACC schools who miss on thr SEC and B1G could end up as screwed as Washington State / Oregon State

I think Cal and Stanford end up left behind too.

Cal could probably do well dismantling the football program, It's siphoning tens of millions of dollars per year from the university to keep it going and the stadium property could probably be put to better use or sold for a fortune.

And if the Stanford program disappeared maybe the tree mascot would notice.

The current Stanford admin hates all forms of fun... to the point that the students needed to start a Stanford Hates Fun movement.

Wow. Two of the best universities in the world let alone the country and they could have easily avoided this if they put more resources into football. I actually think Stanford is in better shape. Way too much money and research dollars in the Bay Area for both of those schools to get totally screwed over.

Anyone with a brain saw this coming a mile away when SDSU withdrew their intent to leave the MWC.

There has been discussions if this took place that Stanford and Cal might just disband all athletics.

Washington is too far away so they’ll dissolve into some mountain west/west coast thing.

If you've been paying attention to the last couple rounds of realignment you'd know that distance no longer matters.

USC and Rutgers are about to be in the same conference

Betting some phone calls were made by Oregon and Washington to B1G headquarters.

Stanford doesn’t need athletics like us plebs. Honestly wouldn’t blame them if they go the Ivy League route by dropping to a lower tier and losing athletic scholarships.

Stanford doesn’t “need” anything but it would be a waste for a school with a strong track record of success to drop high level competition.

Cal? Less so. They are mainly competitive in sports that no one outside the Pac and minor west coast conferences give a shite about like diving.

That looks good except keep Oklahoma in the SEC and send A&M back

Arizona is absolutely joining Colorado as they have been working on this move for months now.
