Backstabbing? Like half the conference was trying to leave when they got out. They jumped b/c they knew they weren’t going to be included w/the schools Texas was trying to take w/them.

Will the B1G expand with Oregon and Washington? The new commissioner and the school presidents don't seem all that excited about expanding again. They may value some of the ACC schools more and just sit tight for the time being.

That is the million dollar question. A west coast pod makes sense from a travel perspective.

Your scenario makes too much sense and I like it so it wont happen.

B1G doesn't seem like they are keen to expand again at least for the next couple years and are more interested in ACC teams, but we will see. I think it's more likely the 4 corners school, Oregon, and UW end up in the Big12 together.

To the MWC:

Oregon St
Washington St
Cal
Stanford

I doubt it to be honest, if the B10 wants to get ND, they'd have to bring Stanford

Now for Cal? Don't see them even wanting to be in a conference like the MWC. Collegiate Elitism at it's finest hours

I think they are hoping for the impending collapse of the ACC

Big 12 jumped the gun Had they waited they could have picked off the PAC 12 instead of bringing in teams like UCF, Cincy and Houston

I think if they don’t, USC and UCLA leaving is met with a Pac12 raid of the Big12.

Right now, there will be a Big12 and no Pac12. Not vice versa.

You are getting downvoted but you aren’t wrong here. P5 / G5 isn’t accurate anymore.

Right now it’s:
P2
M3
G5

After the PAC collapses it will be:
P2
M2
G6

Inevitably the ACC will fall and at best for them it looks like this
P2
Big 12

Big Dropoff

ACC-AAC lite
G6

Tulane, Stanford, Cal, Rice, Air Force, SMU could be in the same conference.

I think the GOR is voided if they can get a majority

With CFB and realignment, nothing is off the table entirely anymore. USC and Rutgers are about to play football in the same conference. If I’d told you that in 2010, you’d have assumed I was crazy.

Believe the number I've seen is they need 10 schools to want to dissolve the ACC

I'd say good luck in finding a better spot for all 10

Oh is it time for the quarterly "FSU trying to leave the ACC" rumors?

Ohio St owes Oregon a home game. Most likely announcing when that is scheduled for.
