At this point I think staying in the American is a better option for Tulane/SMU/Rice etc. it’s not the best conference but it pays out well for a G5 and it’s better run than the PAC

As awesome as that list would be, it will not happen unless that group gets the same or more than the B1G or SEC. It is ALL about money now.

Maybe so, but I wouldn't trust that guy. Just looking through his previous tweets he's been wrong a lot about conference re-alignment

Yeah, as a very early 1990s CU alumn I'd love to see the gang back together but there's no way Nebraska is leaving the Big 10.

McMurphy usually spot on.

Pac 12 look like a bunch of fools.

[Dodd] For now Colorado is expected to be the only addition to the Big 12

Eventually Wazzu and Oregon St will be the only schools left. The Mountain West will take over the Pac

I think Cal and Stanford end up left behind too.

Think UConn is the other.

But other 4 corner schools should be lighting up the phones.

I really don't know about those two. I wonder if they will put much emphasis on football going forward

The Big 12 new TV contract only goes up for other Power 5 schools. I can't imagine Uconn getting voted in knowing it would cost all the schools money.

Amazing how the PAC-12 blew the OU and Texas bounce to the SEC so badly that they themselves are now going to get poached and collapse.

I’d say it’s unbelievable, but there’s never been anything more believable

It’s because the PAC-12 schools were so arrogant to why wouldn’t accept OK State. Sucks to suck PAC-12

UCONN would be for basketball only, but I don’t think that’s happening.

Are usc fans happy to watch their former conference burn? Really curious on that fanbase reaction.

If/when Pac whatever collapses, I hope there remain 4 TOP leagues, with 4 second tier leagues just under them. similar to Premiere and Champions Leagues. I just think the 4 and 4 would do best with new 12 team playoff format, and allow a generational second tier team to get a chance at the national championship as well. All other teams should fold back into Div 2 and play for the NCAA championship. Just seems more clean that way. And yes, I think Notre Dame goes ACC at this time.
