Shitty drive from Dallas and it takes like a case of beer to get any kind of a buzz.
Oklahoma repealed the 3.2% beer law over a year ago. I live half the year in southern Oklahoma and it like it pretty well except for the summer heat. Norman is a nice place and the campus is ok. Decent Mexican food and pretty good bars.

Is Madison actually desirable?
Or just a college town?
Like whats the main city to live and work in in Wisconsin?
Don't a lotta grads leave madison and work in chicago?
My guess/assumption with colleges and their towns.
Get in and then get out after you graduate.
Madison is the capital city, while Milwaukee is the largest city in Wisconsin.

Most of you would hate Madison. It is very PC and very, very liberal.

While you are trolling, BR does suck arse...but LSU is its own community and a good experience. It's way different than BR and it's pretty cool and fun....I guess you can say that about all campuses, but you get whatever you put into it.
I had plenty of in-class arguments w/ professors especially in history and engineering classes. Fun times

Morgantown and Lawrence are the best in the Big 12
Aimes and Stillwater campuses are underrated

Norman blows, as does the entire state of Oklahoma

Madison, WI and Iowa City, IA are freaking awesome college towns. Just big enough cities but not so big they overwhelm the university.

Can you be more descriptive?
What makes it perfect?

Aside from those mentioned by others, Charlottesville, VA is also an awesome place to live.

I only go if I have to and get out as soon as possible.
Conservatives actually whisper to each other there. After looking over their shoulder first.

Yes I know that
Columbia is the capital of SC. I wouldn’t call that a destination financial hub or work place
But that’s just my opinion

UK's campus is really nice, but Lexington overall is dirty and not a desirable area. They are trying to clean it up and add ambiance downtown, but it's not there yet.
