Oh I completely agree, I was just trying to let SFP know he isn't alone.

And I agree that the crowd made that dunk contest a lot less enjoyable than it should've been. They were awful.

Thats because it was Brooklyn. Every person in that place was fighting with every fiber of their being to look cool.

Grizz beat reporter thinking the same way you are:

@HerringtonNBA So Lavine did variations on the same (admittedly awesome) dunk four times? Nice show, but get outta here with Vince comps.

SFP literally said the exact opposite of that.

A flip while dunking is about the only thing left that would blow people's minds. Several players have the vertical and athleticism to do it, but it would take a shite load of practice and I doubt any teams would be OK with thier players attempting it.

Someone will be able to go between the legs twice at some point. After that I think we're done.

Crowd sucks because you're paying $1000 for a ticket so it's a bunch of stuck up rich white people there. They should have brought the Rucker Park crowd in.

I wasn't giving an opinion, just telling RTR that he was misremembering the posts.

He later said he was a bit intoxicated so it's all good

I do think it is great though that the 3 point contest has our leagues best players in it. What it shows is the evolution of the game.

The 3 point contest used to be for slow, undersized guards who were mainly specialist because the game was so mid range and post orientated. The evolution of the 3 ball nows requires swings to have that trick in there arsenal, so we are starting to see our best players in this competition

Basically, if this were 1996, MJ, Grant Hill, Pippen, Payton, Stockton, Drexler, etc would be competing in this event

On 92.9 a couple days ago Coach Bud said he'd try to get all four Hawks players plus Lebron on the court at the same time.

Preview of things to come?

I wish
