Notre Dame just unveiled a $100M+ football facility ??

The new Jack and Kathy Shields Family Hall spans over 150,000 square feet, nearly double the size of the team's old digs.

Inside: an advanced training room, a standalone sports medicine facility, a next-gen equipment center with body scanning tech, an all-team auditorium, media studios, academic support spaces, and a full player nutrition area.

People talk about Texas Tech, A&M, and Texas but to me the potential scariest team in the NIL Era is Notre Dame.

Those old domers want to see a ND natty before they die

All that to stay in the annual “Pre-season College Championship” hype, yet never win one, or come close?

The 2007 Sugar Bowl trophy they have on display when they lost to LSU 41-14 is a nice touch

They won't, but if Stanford ever decided to go all in it would be over for everybody

They played in the championship game two seasons ago. That’s pretty close.

Not when you’re at a major talent deficit to your opponent and it would take a massive fluke to win. Let’s be real. They had no chance against Alabama and no chance against tOSU. They also had no chance when they lost to Clemson in the CFP and LSU in that Sugar Bowl.

Have you ever watched hard knocks? Those facilities are shite compared to big college programs.

This honestly isn’t that impressive. This is where SEC teams started over 10 years ago.

The last two years are the first time in generations ND hasn’t had a major talent disadvantage. The program is at a different level compared to the Kelly era.

Thank goodness we got ours built just before everything tripled in price.
