OU is playing the #7 team and Utah number 12. I don’t see a scenario if both win Saturday that Utah stays ahead

OU will have 4 ranked wins vs Utah’s 1. Not to mention the brand name and Hurts storyline

LSU/Ohio St vs OU and Clemson vs LSU/Ohio St

the head of the playoff committee is Oregon's athletic director. this committee has alrady shown how subjective it can be. plus the PAC 12 desperately needs to get in on the playoff action.

You’re probably right, but it would be based around name recognition, and none of aforementioned reasons that you listed.

I just really don't think they're the better team.

Better hope OU is more worried about beating Baylor than they are about what the committee is going to do. From everything I’ve seen and heard from OU fans they’re all already looking ahead.

Utah is the better team. Their D makes them someone nobody wants to play.

OU will have three ranked wins, not four, and none of them will be terribly impressive.

Of course not. If OU wins, they are in, IF Georgia loses.

so are Alabama and Georgia to name a couple. But one ranked win shouldn't cut it.

Utah is #5 in both polls.

No way the committee just ignores the polls - e.g. public sentiment outside of their little Star Chamber.

If Utah beats Oregon, only way they don't get in is if Georgia squeaks by LSU.

If Georgia whips LSU, committee isn't going to put another SEC Conference loser in the playoffs while leaving out another Conference winner.

1 loss pac10 champion is not getting in over 1 loss non SEC champ LSU. Not even close to a debate. They also aren't getting in over 1 loss OSU if they lose to Wisconsin.

This championship weekend is going to be pretty awesome. Starting off with Friday. I’m hoping for some madness (outside of LSU) and Oregon winning on Friday.
