No matter where he ends up, if it actually goes from 2.5 to 1 then it’s one of the biggest bungles I’ve ever seen.
Isn’t the idea of negotiation to get more money? LOL

Doubtful the dad has anything more than a barely-passing high school education. The kid isn’t smart enough to get in school without being a gifted athlete.
Trash arse family.
Trash arse culture.

I’m not celebrating that a young man is struggling to find employment, but I am celebrating that teams are basically calling this bluff saying “you haven’t proven shite yet. I’ll pay you what you’re worth”

Yes, he’s a legally an adult and ultimately responsible for any outcome, but between his father and other handlers, it’s clear that it was their stupidity and greed that fricked him. Unfortunately that’s the kind of thing a 20-year old can’t know until it’s too late

Though I won’t shed a tear for anyone who got paid $2m as a freshman for sitting on a bench

He’s 20 and has been around the NIL/money game for 2+ years at this point. He's well aware of how the game is played, he just played it poorly. If he didn’t think UT telling him to frick off was a possibility then he really is a dumbass

I saw something where someone was saying the most likely place for him to end up. It listen USC... A few other school and Tulane.

I wouldn’t give him a nickel. If it’s true he demanded more money to play in the playoffs ,f him.Why any team wants him I don’t know he regressed last year and isn’t very good.He needs to be blackballed.

When he finally lands at an inferior school for less money, the inevitable will happen. He and his family will sue everybody, playing the victim card. Because after all, it’s always somebody else’s fault. They’ll allege collusion, racism, whatever it takes to further upend college athletics and get a settlement.

Nico at UNLV with Dan Mullen would be perfect.

If you going to take the trouble to contribute why not at least get the facts right. Tua was frustrated after his freshman year and wanted to go back to USC who originally recruited him.Tua's dad talked to him about his commitment to Alabama and that he should stick it out and win the job. Which he proceeded to do. If you care enough to comment why don't you try to care enough to get the facts right. It can even be refreshing around these parts.
