Once you take away the rivalries and traditions from college football, all you are left with is a minor league sport. Playing games in places like the Rose Bowl is what makes college football great. This is exactly why the fad of the neutral site opener in an NFL stadium only lasted a decade before fans got sick of it. SEC fans want to experience the tomahawk chomp in Doak Campbell or Howards Rock in Death Valley, not play in Dallas or Atlanta.

New LA stadium probably tied with Minnesota for the greatest football stadium ever built.
The Rose Bowl is cool and all but come on. This isn’t baseball where the ballpark is part of the field of play

The Rose Bowl is probably the most iconic stadium in college football, this new stadium looks great and surely has all the amenities in the world, but the Rose Bowl game should never move from the Rose Bowl.

The bar under the stadium that all the corporate ticket holders are going to be sitting at in the new amazing and cool LA stadium.

That's the problem at the Rose Bowl. You're literally in the dark with no lights and very far away from the field. I'm not advocating moving the Rose Bowl, just saying it's actually a pretty bad place to watch a game.
