1985 Coliseum or now Coliseum.
I feel like the "Coliseum is a dump" are people living in the past.
It's not 1926 Yankee stadium.
There are tons of College stadiums that haven't upgraded that are worse.

All this new stadium should do is guarantee that the CFP won’t be held in that stadium the 49ers play in. No one wants to go to San Francisco

While I disagree with the OP,the place does need an upgrade especially being in the CFB playoff rotation.
Not sure what they can do because the money isn't there
unless the state or local govt steps in and I highly doubt it with the new facility opening and the coliseum
being upgraded.Maybe the UCLA folks step up but it's extremely doubtful with the state of their program and PAC 12

I agree these new high tech stadiums will start getting super bowls a lot and other cities will have no choice but to follow with a new stadium or else. It will become harder and harder fro a New Orleans to get super bowls when competing against these new start of the art stadiums.
