As Cleveland gave up what seemed like an insurmountable 30-17 lead with 1:55 left in the fourth quarter, some of the team’s fans rained boos down on the field.

Star defensive end Myles Garrett heard them. And it was one more thing to be frustrated by in an afternoon full of them.

Garrett was asked if it was disappointing to see fans walking out of the stadium disappointed.

“The more disappointing thing was the booing at the end,” Garrett said, via Jake Trotter of ESPN. “It was not the most optimal ending to have. Of course, we want to win. Of course, we want to play out the game and it ends 30-16 or 30-17 whatever it was. We get a pick or a strip sack and end the game, but that’s not always how it goes. These guys are still putting their asses on the line and playing as hard as they can and they should be respected as such. It’s two games and we have plenty more to play, especially this next one coming up in front of the home crowd.

Maybe if you didn’t have a defensive meltdown, you wouldn’t get booed, slick

Next time he hears fans booing is he going to hit them with a helmet or lie about them saying racist things?

As a man married to an Aggy, there are a ton of things they do that annoy me. However, the pride they feel in hissing rather than booing may bug me the most. If you're implying the same thing but just making a different sound, you're not classier for doing it. Also, the Yell Leaders making snake movements with their hands is ridiculous.

They lost because of dumb dumb Chubb.

If he falls down at the 1 yard line they win.

Instead he goes in and increases the Jets chances of winning.

Come on, you can't put that debacle on Chubb. Special teams and the secondary lost that game.

The secondary in particular has looked awful over the first two games.

He acts as if his unit is the first to ever be booed by home fans.

I hate it when pro athletes make comments about fans booing. Is there any other profession outside of sports where you can suck at your job and not hear it from bosses or customers? Do the job you're paid handsomely to to do and there won't be boo birds calling you out.

Kareem Hunt ran out of bounds at least twice with a little over 2 mins left.

He certainly doesn't get off the hook.

Myles Garrett is one of THE most overrated players in the NFL. While he always ends up at the top for sacks, just take a deep dive into his numbers. He simple doesn't impact games like TJ Watt, Mack, Donald, or the Bosa's. He was going up against a rookie LT for the JETS and recorded 1 tackle...1!! Part of the locker room issues the last couple of years, was because Baker criticized him for swinging his helmet at Rudolph and didn't praise him for it. He is soft and has always been soft. He is nothing more than a speed rusher. He doesn't have anything other than that. Suck it up!!!

Exactly. His stats come in garbage time. Meaning, he will pile up sacks against garbage opponents or when the game is in hand and doesn’t matter anymore.

For example, he has 30.5 sacks in 3 years at TAMU. Sounds great, right? Not when you realize that 18.5 of them came against the likes of Lamar, Rice, UTSA, Nevada, and ULL.

It has been this way for decades. It really seemed to pickup steam around 2000.

The good old “it’s the fans fault” to shift the blame.

This appears to be the problem right here. His feelings getting hurt was a bigger deal than absolutely shitting the bed to end the game.
