Jim Edmonds
probably the most underrated CF when it comes to defense. 8x Gold Glove
Jim Edmonds had the misfortune of being in the league at the same time as Andruw Jones, but he was a damn good player in his own right. He had 393 career HRs on top of his defensive awards.

You don’t often hear Scott Rolens name anymore. Wizard at 3B and a damn good hitter.

Steve Garvey was actually a vastly overrated player during his playing career
Well didn't play for a Podunk franchise and still is...
Garvey played for the Dodgers from 1969 through 1982. He is fifth in team history in hits (1,968) and runs batted in (992), sixth in home runs (211), extra-base hits (579) and total bases (3,004) and third in doubles (333).
I mean does he have to be Babe Ruth to get into the HOF?

I would be maybe 1 or 2 people on this board could even guess the Dodgers top 5 HR hitters career
Team has a rich history, not so much on the hitting side.

Without looking I feel like Polanco was just solid for a decade plus without putting up any true standout years. I could be totally wrong though
Good defender at multiple positions
Near 50/50 bb:k
.300 hitter over 16years
Has more career hits than
Mike piazza
Joe Mauer
Don Baylor
Dale Murphy
Harmon Kilibrew
Johnny bench
Moises alou

Michael Young. He was one of the best hitters in the league for a short stretch but got overshadowed by the mashers of the era.

Garvey is a Hall of Very Good player, but his advanced stats aren't up to the HoF.
Average HoF Positional Player:
BA: .302
OBP: .376
SLG: .465
OPS: .841
WAR: 69
Garvey:
BA: .294
OBP: .329
SLG: .446
OPS: .775
WAR: 38.1
Additionally, Garvey didn't have great OPS+ or wRC+ for his career with the numbers being 117 and 116 respectively.
His batting average is close, but the rest of his numbers really aren't.

Underrated in his time maybe, but probably not historically. He will probably get more than 90% his first year on the HOF ballot

Dodgers top 5 HR hitters career
Just taking a stab at it
Duke Snider
Gil Hodges
Roy Campanella
Those are for certain
I know someone from the 90's will be there but not sure who?
The Dodgers were never a HR team with Lasorda it seemed and nobody stayed long...
Cey is a no
Reggie Smith, Pedro G, and Dusty were not Dodgers long enough
I am clueless after that.

Is Eric karros the worst player in the top 3 in franchise home runs for any non expansion team?
10 WAR career player

Eventually I think Bellenger will be the top guy.
So I got 3 out of the 5, no way would have ever thought Karros. Surprised Cey was in top 5, I never recall him being a HR guy in LA. Piazza was a guy who was not sure played in LA long enough to get tons of HR.

I’d be willing to bet 80%+’of this board knows this

Jamie Moyer
35th all time in wins. barely threw over 80mph for 25 years.
Oldest player to play a game in the Majors that was born after the Great Depression.
Has one of the more unbeatable records in all of sports, most career home runs hit off of him at 522.

Garvey, Cey, Reggie, and Dusty Baker all had good power for their time.
