Terry Bradshaw-waiting at the airport to take the the same red eye back from San Fran to Dallas

Charles Barkley in a bar at the Ritz in Phoenix. He invited me to meet him and some other Suns at Dan Majerle's bar later that evening, but the co-workers I was with (including my boss) wouldn't go.

Dirk Nowitzki-at a local bar after a preseason game during his rookie year. Got him to sign my ticket.

That I believe... My "Almost met Roger Clemens" story is that I was going to a bunch of spring training camps in Florida circa 1992 and, in Winter Gardens, ESPN was filming a promo for Clemens and the PA kept moving me around.

As a "thank you" for getting out of the shot several times over the course of an hour, she tried to get Clemens to say "hi" or even give me an autograph but he blew her off.

I've met a few famous people. This isn't my most famous, but probably my coolest encounter. We were staying at a hotel when visiting Boston in August, and the Bucs were there for a preseason game against the Pats. This was probably in 2002 or 2003, I was 10 or 11 at the time. It was me, my bro (who was 8 or 9), and my dad (not a big man at all, around 5'10", 175), and we're waiting for the elevator to head down to the bottom floor. The door opens and inside is this huge, massive black man (Warren Sapp). He doesn't move at all, he doesn't look at us, he just stares straight ahead, no change of expression at all on his face (not "angry", but certainly not "happy". Just a straight face). We squeezed in there, staring at him, and he just looks ahead the whole time. I thought for sure he would eat us all in the 15 second ride. Definitely one of the scariest moments of my life.

Nice, another elevator experience. May be biased, but I just can't think of a much better "experience". It's literally just you and the athlete, even if it's only 10 seconds.

yeah, it was just for about 10 seconds but I was around 15 too on vacation with family at a hotel in DC. DR J said "can you push PH" and I pushed it. He gave me a solid nod.

To give a little more detail....this was in the early 90's in Dallas, I was in line with my nephew who was like 9 or 10 at that time, Clemens sat there behind the table just signing balls and talking with his agent, he wouldn't even look up and say hi to the kids.
