In hIgh school the local doc would come to the locker room once a year before football season and do the walk through physicals. We basically lined up and when he got in front of you, you dropped your gym shorts, he said cough as he held your balls, and then moved on. That was it for us. I had no idea what is was all for but no one was alone with a doc.

Victimhood is an industry now a days

They’re collegiate wrestlers
They’ve been on the mats since 5-6 years old typically, they’ve gotten plenty of physicals over the years
Unless they were intimidated their scholarships would be taken away they could have at least told their coach

No. I'm saying incredulously asking why a guy didn't try to fight off his attacker is a major reason men rarely tell anyone they were sexually assaulted.

What do you call a 40 year old woman who chases college athletes? A Cougar
What do you call a 50 yr old man who fondles boys? A Nitteny Lion!
What do you call an old white man who requires college athletes to get prostate exams? A Buckeye!

Reminder that US Congressman Jim Jordan knew and helped cover up the sexual abuse of Ohio State athletes.

I've had medical physicals before where a doctor grabbed my junk and said cough. It wasn't exactly fun, and hell, maybe it wasn't medically necessary. I don't know. But I didn't consider it to be sexual assault and it's not something that I've had to "overcome" in my life.
Did it move?

This is my question. Are we talking about an instance where a doctor briefly grabbed their wiener during a physical when it probably wasn't medically necessary? Or was it a situation of the doctor jerking these guys off under the guise of it being a physical?
I've had medical physicals before where a doctor grabbed my junk and said cough. It wasn't exactly fun, and hell, maybe it wasn't medically necessary. I don't know.
But I didn't consider it to be sexual assault and it's not something that I've had to "overcome" in my life. Now, if the doctor was massaging these guys goobers, playing with their balls, or tying to play hide the sausage in the left tackle's butt I feel like I would know instantly this was NOT something that is supposed to happen in a medical physical
I was wondering something similar but in regards to the below:
quote:
that coaches and administrators knew about it for two decades but failed to stop him.
Are they saying all these people reasonably should have known that the “physicals” were going beyond a normal physical, or maybe were told by players something wasn’t right but just thought players were overreacting to a physical, thought the doctor knew more than them, and didn’t investigate properly? So they knew some players had concerns, but they believed the doctor over them or believed that they players were overreacting to normal physicals without investigating properly. Now it’s believed that was negligence on their part. Basically they didn’t actually know sexual assaults taking place but should have known.
Or
Are they saying all these people flat out knew sexual assaults were taking place by the doctor on these guys and just said that wasn’t their concern or thought if males had issues they should handle it themselves and did nothing while fully knowing doctor was sexually assaulting the males and getting off on them? (Or maybe did nothing because the doctor was some donor whose support was only reason these people had a job so they kept quiet while knowing exactly what was happening).

That sounds like the Dr from Scrubs who always told the males to take their pants off regardless of their symptoms or injuries.

It’s a money grab just like most lawsuits. Washed up athletes seeking a payday.

Coates has nothing on Larkins Hall - The Leering Center
quote:
Larkins Hall, which served OSU as its physical education facility and natatorium, was perceived as a sexualized environment, and multiple witnesses reported that voyeurism and public sex acts occurred there from the early 1980s to the late 1990s. Thirty wrestlers and gymnasts reported voyeurs were routinely present at Larkins Hall in the locker room, shower, and sauna areas, ranging from college age to approximately 60 years old; the "leering" voyeurs would ogle student-athletes that were using the facilities and some would masturbate. Sources familiar with then-head coach Russ Hellickson's actions at the time said that the situation was so egregious that Hellickson would occasionally have to drag the voyeurs out of the building, and that he also pleaded with the university to move their athletes to a private facility.[9] Strauss was counted among the voyeurs; former OSU students stated that Strauss would shower among athletes multiple times per day or stare into the shower while seated on a stool.[10] In addition, peepholes were found in bathroom stalls and shower walls.
