Kick 6
Jack on 18 at Augusta in 86
Dale Jr Pepsi 400 win in 2001 (I was there, and even though I’m not a big NASCAR fan anymore, it was surreal being there)
Yordan’s massive bomb in game 6 (I was there for that too)
Bo Jackson’s 90 yard TD run on MNF
Nolan’s 7th

Gibson’s HR is the top for me.

Hurt, could barely move, bottom of the 9th, 3-2 count.

“In a year that has been so improbable, the impossible has happened!!”

The shot of him limping around the bases, fist pumping, while the entire crowd is going nuts in the background was maybe the most perfect moment in sports. Baseball is not my favorite sport. But if you’ve ever played the game at any level that moment was the ultimate dream

Going in a new direction, I like the buildup for a game. There is nothing like being in a stadium and walking around to your seats just taking in the atmosphere with the music and people chattering then finally finding your section and walking through the tunnel out to the stadium finally emerging to an entirely new symphony of music with the stadium speakers thundering music along with a quiet roaring murmur of the crowd. That feeling gives me chills each time at a sporting event and the best so far for me have been Lambeau, Wrigley and AT&T stadium.

quote:

Demetrius Byrd catching the winning TD against Auburn in 07 with zeros on the clock.

It wasn’t zeroes. While in the stadium though, I never realized we were that close to losing.

The call though is amazing: “Flynn, back to throw, in the endZoNe BOOM TOUCHDOWN”
Screaming
“Well you throw it up to Byrd and if he doesn’t have it, they won’t.”
“Wow what a call”
“If he misses the catch, they LOSE…”
“WOW”
“They LOSE”
“WOW”

Charlie Welch's pinch hit homer over Nebraska in the Fayetteville Regional in 2021.

That regional was the first time we'd been allowed to have a full crowd after covid. The context of the moment in the game combined with the added emotion of people finally being able to be together again will never fail to move me when I see it.
