How about a Curtis Granderson for a bag of dildos instead?

Don't believe the rotation is on the table but everything else should be

We can use some extra dildos, we hid the ones we had after the pic fiasco and now we can't find them

Can't have Bruce until after the All Star game since he is our one team rep

I don't see how they accomplish both goals, I don't even see a big payroll team like the Yankees or Dodgers offering up a big return AND taking on the full salary.

If I'm the cubs, I'm not doing anything unless it's beneficial for the next 2 or 3 years. They aren't winning shite this year. Keep the farm together and make moves in free agency from the money you don't have to waste on montero and lackey.

I still feel if we made a move on a legit pitcher, and one more above average hitter, we could right the ship this year.

We still have a chance at the playoffs. I firmly believe we will go on a good little run after the all star break.

Every offensive player is struggling for the Cubs, even Bryant and Rizzo are hitting under .260.
It is kinda amazing that the entire team is in a funk and they still haven't broken it, not one player has gotten hot yet. If things click during the second half they could be a scary team.

If i was the yankees, i would look at Matt Carpenter to play 1b for them.

He can lead off, gets on base, and would love that small left field fence. His contract is still nice, considering the market, and wouldn't cost a lot. New GM in St.Louis, Mo who moved to president is a moron, who gives players away.

Hitting in AL, and especially in NY, he'd be a .280+ hitter, .370-.390 obp, with 18-25 homers and 65-70 rbis from lead off spot.

He's signed for 2 years+ an option. 1b for Yankees is horrible, Carter is garbage. And Carpenter can play 2b/3b if needed in a pinch.

Lol, this is typical twitter journalism.

Morosi is usually better than this:

Sources: #Cardinals interested in Josh Donaldson, but they have had no formal trade discussions with the #BlueJays.

I'm also interested in Winning the lottery, but haven't bought a ticket yet.

Going to be an interesting few weeks for the Rangers. There was thought to be many movable pieces with a lot of free agents coming off the books this year but the under performance of many has hurt their value. I do look for Lucroy to be moved for something at the least. JD says he's not moving Darvish though so we will see.

Texas is a team that should 10X better than they play. They are in a weird position, because they are fixed to win now. So they begin to sell, they might as well sell it all, and reload with younger players they have under long term contract.

I'd prefer to wait for Bird or give the job to Austin or another than make a trade

Wouldn't surprise me if they moved any of Lucroy, Napoli, or Gomez

I'd hope not, he played well when he was able. Seems to have some bad luck right bow though. I see that on the 3rd the Yankees sent him to get another diagnosis on his ankle, so the reports from last week that he was going to return after the AS were premature
