The only one on that list with a snowballs chance in hell is Charlotte

MLB will pick Memphis or Nola watch. There has been a lot of discussion on lack of black interest in baseball.

Let's also add another 50 games to the regular season. And make sure to get games to 5+ hours long on the reg.

Plus strengthen the blackout rules so nobody can watch shite.

The other part of this...are cities have to actually want AND have a MLB expansion plan. Only Portland, Vegas and Nashville have one to my knowledge.

Charlotte’s minor league stadium was built with expansion for an MLB team in mind. They’ve got plans too.

Baton Rouge.

ATL is 8 hours away and they won't let us watch the Texas teams

obviously would never happen, but maybe a little farther east and call them "Gulf Coast ______".

I would submit a couple of dark horse candidates: Monterrey, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

That would be a damn shame if the Orioles left. They have such a pretty park. Their owner made a public rebuttal to that notion not long ago vehemently denying any intention to leave.

The Giants blocked the Athletics going to San Jose. So I would be surprised if Sacramento ever got a team.

Here we go again with people always thinking Texas team owners have that much power. Texas and Houston cant decide by themselves

It's called territorial rights. Do some research on why the A's have not been allowed to move to San Jose, which was mentioned for years.

It's always been weird to me that Portland only has 1 major sports team.

Just cannot help yourself to insert race in entirely non-racial topics.

Small regional tv market. Portland is geographically compromised. Down the Willamette Valley beyond Eugene there isnt much, beyond the Cascades there isn't anything worth mentioning. It's Seattle's market. I thought they would go to Vancouver to pull in the Calgary, Edmonton, and Victoria markets

It’s just the reality of the situation. This is the same league that pulled the all star game out of Atlanta over an absurdity.

This would be a huge mistake. If anything they should reduce the number of teams.

nashville would be a solid pick

growing, could support, their only issue is, their road system is decades behind their growth.

MLB needs to get rid of teams, not add. Would love to see them get rid of the franchises in Oakland, Minnesota, Tampa, and Miami.

The Twins?

Brand new park, history and tradition, and some of the deepest pockets in baseball.

Miami ain’t going anywhere.

Oakland is a dead city. Tampa cares more about hockey.

I would like to see another pro team somewhere in the Nothwest so the Mariners have a natural rival. So Portland or Vancouver makes a lot of sense.

I said the same thing about the Twins. I don't know why someone else brought them up.

I was reading something in the Tampa Bay Times today that the Rays might build a new stadium at the current site.
