The Rockies swept the DBacks. Watch SportsCenter tonight. Nolan Arenado made two defensive plays that will probably be in the Top 10 plays. One for certain.

Karl Ravich was just going ga ga on the one play that will certainly make the top 10.

The Reds bullpen is a steaming hot pile of garbage. Come to think of it, the whole team is.

The Reds are really, really bad. Pitchers can't throw strikes, starters can't get pass the fifth, the bullpen is doo-doo, and the hitters can't consistently hit. Votto is being busted inside and has had a hard time adjusting. Phillips, while still being a master in the field, takes his at bats as if he's playing himself on MLB the Show. He swings at everything with no discipline. Hamilton looks more and more like a bust. The few positives: Cosart(until the injury today) looks good, Finnegan hasn't pitched bad, Stephenson looked good while up, and Suarez, though not of late, hasn't hit bad, nor has Bruce. Homer and Desclafani both had setbacks in their last rehab starts. We are on our way to a franchise record of 60-102. It's bad.

Astros bias here but very intrigued to see how the AL West will play out. Everyone beat up on each other or will Texas run away with it while staying healthy and getting Yu back?

I'm surprised the Astros are looking so bad. I thought after last year they were on the upswing while the Rangers had their one last swan song.

And the Rangers are once again doing well despite a crap bullpen, Prince (the hitter) being about as dead at the plate as Prince (the musician) is just dead, and Desmond yet another Jon Daniels gem (sarcasm). They lead the league in defensive double plays, Elvis leads the league in RISP batting average, and the tightest clubhouse in baseball continues to find ways to take series.

He's been raking lately, where have you been? I know you have an irrational hatred for the best GM the Rangers have ever had, but maybe you should let this one go.

I am going to be pissed if Mazara loses his role when Choo and Hamilton are back from injuries.

One I forgot: Byron Buxton is garbage. Maybe I'll regret typing this, but I don't think he ever develops into anything, after several years atop the top prospects list.

The Cubs have played 3 games against a team that could reasonably be considered a contender...6 if you stretch it to include Arizona.
Let's see how they do against better competition.

No way they can do that after the way he's played. They'll find a spot for him.

Cubs are the most complete team in baseball, maybe over the past decade or so, and it means nothing as the right pitching timing can make a run in playoffs and ruin anyone

If Boston can stay around the top 2 of the east and hold off until the trade deadline, they have to make a move to get another quality starting pitcher.

AL East is gonna be interesting with Boston, Toronto and Baltimore.

Bryce Harper is incredible.

toronto will have to make a trade for an arm at the deadline to stay in it. just like last year.

Got that right. 20 runs in 21 innings pitched at Fenway as a Red Sox.

Who's on their staff? Dickey and Stroman are the only two arms I know of.
